To achieve this, we provide targeted financial and in-kind support to non-profit organizations and local communities, as well as sponsor events and volunteers. The Wawa Foundation provides financial grants at the local, regional and national levels, ensuring that our commitment extends from the local communities that Wawa serves to the regional footprint that Wawa occupies in the Mid-Atlantic and Florida. Only registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations operating in Wawa's six states are eligible to apply.
We Provide Three Types Of Support:
The organization must fit into the three main areas of the Wawa Foundation: health, hunger and everyday heroes. To learn more, see our Success Criteria. Grants Our application windows for grants over $2,500 for 2023 are January, April, July and October. Eligible organizations can submit grant applications and RFPs during this period.
Applications will be reviewed and organizations will receive a response before the next grant application window opens. The Wawa Foundation has set a grant cycle during the calendar year. During this cycle, we receive online applications and RFPs related to our focus areas and funding priorities.
If the Wawa Foundation approves an online inquiry, the charity may be asked to submit more information. Local Calling Grants Financial grants under $2,500 are available for local nonprofit organizations. After submitting your inquiry online, you should receive a response from a Wawa Foundation representative within 4 weeks.

Once the budget is reached, further inquiries for the current year will be rejected and you will be advised to reapply the following year.
