Military building apps are simple, dark and similar to what you get with your subscription. If you are not a subscriber, you can use the key codes found in the back of the Warhammer 40k Codex or Age of Sigmar Battletomes books to unlock the army rules in each app and create an army in addition to its builders

An anthology series, in theory, a mixture of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Age of Sigmar stories - but, until now, it has almost always been an animation for the factions Warhammer 40k. There's a good variety, from the turbulent Ork who talks about the history of the soldiers of the Astra Militarum in "Old Bale Eye", to the Lovecraftian mystery of "Bound for Greatness".

The Age of Sigmar short "Double or Nothing" follows Hamilcar Beareater, a Stormcast Eternal who believes his battle is his own, as he battles the Orruk army. Why all black and white and red? A highly illustrated animated series about the Blood Angels Space Marines at war with the invading Genestealer Cult.
The Angels of Death have many elements of the epic Warhammer 40k story: brutal battles, brutal villains, a happy Techmarine and a raging threat. He uses his animation style to represent the curse of the Blood Angels of Black Rage - a generational madness that saved them from the death of their Primarch Sanguinius.
Unfortunately, the mix of sound and pole work is very weak: shooting the chains of a Space Marine should sound like Satan screaming in his throat, not a carving knife. A rogue outfit leader of the T'au Empire pursues a secret Eldar who has fueled the flames of war against humanity in an endless war.

It's stunning animation that brings to life some of the greatest combat mechanics in space. The story is somewhat predictable - this is all about the journey, not the journey. Putting the "grim" in the "grimdark", the Interrogator is a noir thriller, full of drugs, crime and betrayal, as a drug-obsessed slave of the Inquisition.
Warhammer+ Miniatures
. The dark tone itself may be too disconcerting for some, but the long investigation is powerful. Also, the characters use real swear words! So far, we only have one trailer for Pariah Nexus, which features an animated battle between ancient, deadly Necrons and the Imperial Sisters of Battle and Space Marines.
It looks very similar to the intro animation for Warhammer 40k 9th edition, and we have to assume it was created as a test piece by an animation team to illustrate this larger theme. If this is the case, then the announcement of Warhammer 40k 10th edition will give us a taste of another, future Warhammer + series.

In March 2021, Games Workshop hired Syama Pedersen to create a sequel to his favorite YouTube animation Astartes - although there has been little news about this long-awaited feature. We are still waiting for news on a few teased series: Smile of Anger, Broken Voice and Big Bosses.
