Since then I have called customer service almost 5 times and each time I had to stay on the phone for an hour or more to find someone. I spoke to several reps and they told me the card was damaged. and they take all my information to send me a new card, when they get the address by phone, the call, already happened 3 times.
I haven't used this card and I don't know how it got damaged. I have tried to reach a supervisor and have since been unsuccessful. I'm still trying, it's really frustrating. We purchased a Vanilla Mastercard gift card over three months ago, but have not been able to use the card for online payments.

He finally agreed to request a refund check for me but said it would take 3 weeks. DO NOT BUY THESE GIFT CARDS. Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish. It all started a month ago when my card was rejected. So... I was instructed to cut it.

Which I did. And I called Vanilla Prepaid Cards and spent hours on hold. But I think they just want me to stop, that I don't want anything. I bought a $140 Vanilla gift card to use online and everywhere I tried to use it said I needed a zip code.

I went to put a zip code on their website and it said there was a problem with my card. I called customer service and they were of no help in unlocking my card. I bought a vanilla gift card before and had no problem putting the zip code on the card on their website and it said you can't attach a zip code to the card even though I had done it before.
He said I need to get a new card which will take 7-10 business days so I asked for a refund which he said will take 3 weeks and I need to send documents to verify my address. Such a hassle and waste of time and who knows when I will get my refund.
DO NOT BUY VANILLA RIGTED PAPER unless you want something to go wrong. I received a Vanilla Visa gift card for $100.00. There was only $1.83 left on the card when I used it. I sent the dispute papers and they found that someone had made a paper that was probably computer generated for the numbers.
Every time I called, 2 hours on hold and 20 emails later. They just sent a replacement card for $78.22. I called again and they said I have to wait 48 hours to reload the card from the merchant. After two weeks, zero balance. There was also another gift card that I received that also had a 0 on it.
