Most will provide between three and 11 cents, but there are days when some stations will offer up to 30 cents per gallon. The average discount I see on gas purchases in my area is between 12 cents and 21 cents per gallon of cash rewards.

However, it's important to consider the total price per gallon between stations when using the app. For example, a gas station that offers a bonus of 30 cents per gallon, but sells gas for 60 cents more than cheaper gas stations, will not give you any real price savings.

Before you head out for your daily shopping, check for nearby grocery stores or gas stations that offer cash back.
