This year, the tasting cord won't be available, but there are still two great options to get the most bang for your buck. If you want to save money and enjoy what Mardi Gras has to offer, this card is for you! Guests can purchase discount food and beverage cards to save money while enjoying special food and drinks for the Mardi Gras celebration.
There are two different cards to choose from. For $65, guests can purchase a food and beverage card valued at $75. For $120, guests can purchase a $150 value card. These cards work for purchases made at Mardi Gras kiosks and all Universal Orlando owned and operated restaurants and carts.
These cards can be used to purchase food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Any discounts, such as Premier Preferred Annual Passes, can still be used for meals and non-alcoholic beverages. These discount food and beverage cards can be purchased at any Mardi Gras food booth at Universal Studios Florida from February 5 through April 24, 2022.

They don't end. It's really hard to beat a deal like this! While many were disappointed that no testing lanyards were available this year, these alternative discount cards are an amazing deal and a great way to save money. Being able to purchase a discount dining card that can be used around the resort and never expire is an amazing deal.
There is also no limit to purchasing these cards, so this may be a good time to stock up on cards for future trips. Add in the fact that you can apply your Passholder discount to dining, it's easy to see that this card is the way to go if you're visiting Universal Orlando anytime soon.
