Beautiful soft music played in the background. The servers were polite and willing to serve and made great suggestions. My favorite teas were French Brulee, Paris, Chai Tea and Serenity. (All 6 of us ladies shared a pot of tea!) It's a great place to lift your spirits and renew!

A small antique round table beautifully set with linen and cutlery. There are also hats on the wall that you can wear while visiting. We opted for the lunch special and Holly brought out the tea menu! There are 68 types to choose from! An impressive choice in kale, greens, rubios and herbs.

Each ingredient has a name with a description and flavor profile. Holly was adept at this combination. Our lunch consisted of a teapot of our choice (keep warm on the tealight burner), half a sandwich (the pesto chicken salad was amazing), a small cup of soup (the best tomato bisque I've ever had), 1 strawberry.
and 1 blueberry. A dog is included. Lemon scones with lemon curd and almond cream. There are little sugar holders with brown or white sugar cubes that you scoop out with pretty tongs (a loaf or two?). That's still enough to keep the conversation going.
Holly checked on us and cleaned the dishes so we could continue. Then we headed to the gift shop, a tea lover's dream! They can even smell the varieties they are selling. You can buy everything from teapots/warmers, cups/dishes, mesh balls, inspirational books and of course TEA.
Most of the teas on the menu are prepackaged or can be purchased by the bottle in varying quantities! They can also make a gift basket for that special tea lover in your life! They also serve Queen's teas, dessert teas and parties for special occasions.

We always have a great time! The ladies who work there are very friendly and always do their best to make your visit special. Their food is delicious and beautifully presented. They have a variety of teas to choose from. They also have all kinds of funny hats on the walls from different eras.
After tea, we usually spend a lot of time in the gift shop browsing through the many fun items and beautiful cards. Check out the different types of tea and different snacks to eat. A great gift shop where you can buy your own tea locker and cutlery.
Knowledgeable staff and space for small parties. A unique atmosphere and experience if you've never been there. This is a treat!! My sister and I come here every year on Mother's Day and sometimes on her birthday. It's so much fun!! We usually have groups of 5 and they always accommodate us.
Although the space is small, there are two separate rooms. Hats and bows hang on the wall, so you can wear them while dressing up and drinking tea, which is fun and cute to take photos. We always have Queen's tea. Although more expensive. Endless tea pots are worth it.
You can switch between hot to cold and different flavors. And the food is very good. Our favorites are tomato bisque, strawberry gazpacho and a variety of tea sandwiches. We are not rushed and the owner is very sweet. I will continue to support TranquiliTEA and visit you often!!

Read More I have visited Tanquilatei many times over the years with my girlfriend. They are excellent on all levels. The setting is a quaint, old house and there is a lovely gift shop with lots of beautiful tea sets, loose tea, jewellery, note cards and wonderful recipes.
The owners/servers do their best to make your tea experience fun and welcoming. Everyone gets their own bottomless bowl and a pre-set menu of items for a light meal. But tea is about more than going out to eat. The atmosphere, the experience and you are in no rush.
