Gift & Thrift's first off-season sale has now been postponed until May. "The goal is just to give people eyes to sell their stuff," Gift & Thrift owner Peggy Taylor said. Taylor opened Gift & Thrift 12 years ago and has seen tremendous growth since then.
“We have 102 vendors now,” Taylor said. "Some people are on the waiting list for a very long time, remember that we have been selling some people for years." Anderson and his wife have run the booth at Secondhand Treasures at Gift & Thrift as one of their favorite pastimes for over a decade now.
It's fun. It's even more fun now since I've retired," Anderson said. Gifts & Thrift is more than just a thrift store; while they have a lot of vintage and second hand items, many sellers have made many of their products. "That's what we strive to get is a variety, everything from bags and shelves, to canned goods, candy handmade metal, to crocheted items, the retro vintage," Taylor said.
What To Expect
There are just so many different vendors," said Gift & Thrift Vendor Amoreena Barber Barber has exhibited her own handmade business, Korny Bean Bags, at Gift and Thrift for 12 years. "It's easier to advertise here instead of just walking out of your house," Barber said.

Through the years of inflation and other economic concerns, Taylor said Gift & Thrift has become more popular. "I think we get a lot of customers from it, sometimes in a family budget is tight," Taylor said. While there is always traffic in the store, Gifts & Thrifts outdoor sales on Saturdays draw crowds.
They're very popular, then the outside of the store and the inside of the store is full of stuff," Taylor said. "He needs to be a little faster, but he always gives air," Anderson said. "The outdoor sale is always the first Saturday of every month, given the weather, we'll probably make it well into November."
