The hosts were attentive and never intrusive. Norman was happy. It was the most pleasant experience from the gentleman at the front desk to the end. He was very polite and informative and helped with parking and dietary restrictions. Afternoon tea is a wonderful old tradition that everyone should try at least once....the food was beautiful and delicious.
The environment is peaceful and comfortable. The waitress loved her job and it was obvious. She gave lots of helpful tips, the food was delicious and the cafe was lovely! The staff and service were excellent and our waiter offered an excellent selection of lunches and almond sugar cups of tea.
How nice! This small teahouse has all the atmosphere you would expect from an English teahouse. So cute and beautifully decorated. And the food was exceptional! We had afternoon tea. The scones were the best I've ever had...with real dressing to spread them. A delicious selection of sandwiches and pastries.
Desserts were seasonal squash and celery cheese. And they have a variety of teas to suit all tastes. It is a very special place to share a delicious cup of tea with friends or family and relax in a beautiful atmosphere. They also have a nice gift shop where they sell all kinds of tea related items.
I left a new teapot and cup! More than that, my daughter and I enjoyed tea at a small tea shop in downtown Jefferson Harbor. Not only were the teas, home made cakes and sandwiches fantastic, we also got extras like fresh cut roses to take home.

The shop has Victorian tea sets, soaps and other gifts. Her family and customer service is amazing! Don't miss it! We made the trip from New Jersey and it was worth it! Judy and SamMore I've been wanting to come here and finally got a reservation.
I was not disappointed! I got the sandwich of the day - grilled goat cheese and jam with a light and fresh salad. I also got a dessert tea which was... a pot of tea and fresh desserts with bread and cream. The desserts were amazingly delicious.
Don't get me started on tea! This is huge! I had a Prima Ballerina Ice Cream Pie with my sandwich and dessert. It was so good, I'll go back tomorrow and buy some at home. Can't wait to go back! More Hidden Gardens What a special place!
My friend and I had a wonderful and delicious lunch today to celebrate my birthday. The tea selection is huge and I enjoyed a beautiful pot of Assam tea. The table was set with beautiful china, beautifully folded napkins and lovely cards, creating a beautiful atmosphere.
Our server Sarah was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient! There are also hats worn while drinking tea. I never order dessert, but I couldn't resist a pretty birthday cake or any other type of cake on a pretty plate. Attention to detail enhances the experience....it's something special.

I can't go back! Reservations are recommended. So HAPPY! More than a year ago, my vision was great, and we were hoping to see seasonal decorations, charm, atmosphere and delicious chili once again. Their yard is full of fun, wearing hats and necklaces! But with a three-year-old and a 3-month-old, eating can be difficult, so my daughter made an early reservation for 11:30 a.m. on the weekend.
The place was empty as I ordered two Victorian tea plates and a $16 salad at $44 each. We decided not to order my three-year-old grandson because it was so delicious that we could eat a large veal sandwich. Unfortunately, our server returned to the table saying that our three-year-old should order a sandwich from the menu.
Shocked and disappointed, I changed my order to a $22 desert plate, $10 grilled cheese, this place is $10 and we are never going back! It was a very bad deal for them. It made our experience very negative and also made the place feel expensive because the nicely presented 4 slices of sandwich didn't add up to the whole sandwich and if you asked for more you had to pay.
Requiring minors to order repeat customers is completely disrespectful and bad business practice. Our server was great when we started our time here, but after we changed our routine she was far and away. I'm sure I'm embarrassed. I don't take negative reviews lightly because both my father and brother are small business owners and I know how important good reviews are.
But based on our experience, I had no choice as the food was delicious and served on beautiful plates. There is a large selection of teas. My daughter spent her 8th birthday here and all the girls loved it. Boas and fancy hats are available for use on your trip.
