What can I buy with this?" he asked. He looked back and saw his reflection in the mirror. He walked to the mirror and looked at his reflection. "At least Jim likes my beautiful long hair," she said, spinning. "He called me his princess!" Then he stopped being cold.
I'm a princess!" she said, "only $1.87 to spend on a present for my husband." Then all at once Della understood what needed to be done. He quickly put on his shirt and left the apartment. He ran down the street to the shop where they made wigs.
The sign reads: "We buy hair." "Tell me," Della asked the shopkeeper. "How much would you pay for my hair?" "Come in," said the shopkeeper, "and let me see." Della went into the shop and took off her shirt. His long, thick hair fell. "I i!"

It came from his father and from his father's father before him. Sometimes, when Jim didn't think anyone would notice, he took out the gold watch, turned it over, and rubbed it carefully. Della knew that because she saw him do it. Then Della saw the perfect gift - a gold chain for her pocket watch!
Bought a gold watch chain for $21. With the chain attached to Jim's pocket watch, it cannot fall out of his pocket. And wasn't it fun when Jim pulled out that gold pocket watch and everyone saw that shiny gold chain! That night, when Jim came home, Della rushed to give him the gift he had bought.
However, when he saw his wife's short hair on her face, a frown appeared where she smiled. - Hey, don't worry, husband! he is crying. "My hair is coming back quickly." Then, before he gave the gift to Jim, he handed his wife a small box.
Something Went Wrong
Della unrolled the tape and unfolded it. Inside are two beautiful hair combs! They were the ones he had fantasized about in the shop window many times, but the price was too expensive. Now they are a gift from my beloved husband. Della then handed the box to Jim.
Now it's your turn," he said. When Jim opened it and saw the gold watch chain, he had to sit up. "You don't like it?" said his wife. "Of course I do!" said Jim. "But you see, I sold my watch to buy two combs."

And I sold my hair to buy you a watch chain!" Della said. Jim and Della both gave up the one thing they loved most for another. And now they have nothing to show for it. "My princess," Jim said as he held his wife's hand and looked into her eyes.

I think the story is about what you give up for the people you love. True love is the most important and powerful.. This story touched my heart. I want to cry when I read it. The story is about, You can't just think about yourself.
When you love someone, you can even sacrifice the most important thing for the person you love. I think Delle learned that it doesn't matter how many gifts there are or how much they cost, but the most important thing is her love. I think the story is trying to tell me that no matter what the gift is, she and her husband will always be happy with or without it.

Dela realizes that they don't have that much money and she wants to give him a watch chain. The story is trying to tell me that they don't care what they have, or something. 1. The man and the woman changed, each took something as a gift to the other, and at first they only loved each other, but did not show how.
Deeper Study
2. The point of the story is that you can always find a place to give to someone, even if you are poor. This story tells me that it's not how much you spend on gifts, but the effort you put in. Jim and Della both gave something they really liked to get each other a present.
Money doesn't always win. It seems that Delle realizes that the gift is not important, but her love for her husband. I think the story is trying to show me that we don't need gifts to be happy. it doesn't matter how much money you have, what matters is that you have people who care about you and have a roof over your head.
Don't get what you like to get what you don't have because it doesn't matter if you are poor or rich because the poor are rich. Wealth is having a roof over your head and food in your stomach, even if you are poor and have no money, you are still rich because you have a roof and food.
