The Gift Of Song Hades - Orpheus is a famous musician. During his lifetime he lost his wife and muse Eurydice and went to the Underworld to beg her to return. The Gift Of Song Hades
However, because he has lost his muse, he cannot come to sing, even if he is persuaded otherwise. Orpheus is a mythical musician who once entered the underworld to try to bring back his wife Eurydice after her sudden death. Although he failed, he was hired by Hades to be a court musician.
Unfortunately, the loss of Eurydice has stopped Orpheus from any desire to sing, and no one sings a sweeter, sadder song than him. Although he is famous for singing songs that make people cry, Orpheus is kind. After his loss, however, he is completely discouraged from singing, and takes on a melancholic and dark personality.
Orpheus is usually sad and depressed, and has completely stopped losing his muse, singing "Good Riddance", which sounds more like human laughter. When he first brings news of Eurydice, Orpheus has no problem recalling his painful memories. Zagreus is very upset when he hears this, but Orpheus feels this way because he believes that he has completely failed and thinks that he is better off without him.
Characteristics And Personality[]
Eventually, Zagreus helps her reunite with him, and her mood begins to improve. Orpheus' appearance as a shadow is characterized by pale, sunken skin and heavily matted hair. According to Eurydice, this is a small look for him, as she remembers him having curly hair and a nice tan when they were together, much to Zagreus' surprise.

Before the events of Hades, Orpheus was imprisoned by Lord Hades because of his refusal to sing. His penalty can be waived by purchasing a Court Musician's Judgment (worth 1 Diamond) from the House Contractor. When he withdraws, Orpheus will immediately appear in the house of Hades.
After giving him at least 1, Orpheus will start singing again, describing Zagreus' determination as an inspiration despite the loss of his muse. Afterwards, Orpheus can sometimes be heard singing when Zagreus returns to the House. Orpheus' favor is won by breaking his contract, allowing him to visit Eurydice at Asphodel.
As you deepen your relationship with Orpheus and Eurydice, Zagreus will ask Eurydice for a copy of his song, Good Riddance, which he will share with Orpheus. After finding the song, Orpheus will start singing in the house. After many conversations with both of them, Eurydice will start the meeting by saying: What happens now, sir...?

What I mean is... now that you've made me think of Orpheus again,... what do I do with that? After getting the document in the Control Room, talk to the House Contractor to buy Artist's Gamble 3. Eurydice: Two soul mates inseparable even in death. In his previous life, Opheus was so saddened by the death of his wife that he went to Hades to save her, but failed miserably. Eurydice never condemns her husband, but insists on punishing him. Eurydice says that she is fine with him and the way things have turned out, but only because he is stubborn.

The two reconciled and returned to being a working couple. Zagreus: Eurydice points out that many of Orpheus' songs were hers, but when Zagreus questions her about them, Orpheus points out that he tried his best to give her proper credit and people didn't listen.
Apollo: Apollo was his music teacher. Orpheus says it was because of Apollo that he could play his lyre well. Hades: When Orpheus came to rescue his muse, Hades made a deal with him. Eurydice can come back with him if he keeps one condition.

He later fails in that same situation, with the result that Eurydice lives in the Underworld. Later when Orpheus died, Hades took pity on him and made him the official court musician. However, he would have done this because he liked Orpheus' singing, as seen when he repeatedly asked him to sing.
Hades throws him into solitary confinement when Orpheus refuses to sing because of a broken heart, but allows him to stay as a court singer when Zagreus bails him out. Dionysus: Advises Zagreus to have "harmless fun" with Orpheus's feelings and deceives him into believing that he and Zagreus are one and the same.
When Zagreus does so, Dionysus laughs heartily, which angers Orpheus. not provided Additional notes about file rights One of the many tasks you can take up while trying to escape the Underworld from Hades is learning to play the harp, the favorite instrument of the court musician, Orpheus. However, it is not a short process, which is why there can be confusion about how to complete it.
Codex Entry[]
It's not difficult, and once you know the process, it can be one of the easiest tasks to complete in the game. After the prophecy of learning to play the instrument appears in your inventory, you will be able to purchase the instrument from the House Broker.
This will cause it to appear in your room. After the lyre is placed in your room, you should play it several times as you walk, between your walks. Just interact with it a few times every time you are in your room, and this will help the progress of the work.
Along with playing the harp, be sure to talk to Orpheus as much as possible. When you are in Hades of Hades, check that the singer is in his usual place: in the seat to the right of Hades, himself. If so, talk to him and delete all conversations for now.
After talking to him enough and continuing to play the harp, you will get a conversation with Orpheus who will give the musician to teach Zagreus how to play the instrument. From here it's just a matter of repeating the same steps: keep playing the harp if you can and talk to Orpheus as you do.
