Multidisciplinary textual approach: Semiotic analysis of the legal system that appears in the work of O. Henry's Gift of the Magi In this study, we decided to analyze the production process of the semantic universe O. "Gift of the Magi" by Henry in this study.
We conducted the analysis using data from narratology and semiotics. First, we discussed the text in the process of telling a story. First of all, we tried to explain the story in terms of the theory of expression, and then came up with the structure of the text according to Larivaille's five-level story profile.
After that, we talk about the text in the framework of literary semiotics. At this point, we have analyzed the components of different narratives as part of the semiotic trajectory of the Paris School. In this section, we have the opportunity to look at the creative elements of the text on the surface and the deeper level of meaning and to explain how these elements explain each other to create fiction as a whole.

We celebrate Greimas's four levels of narrative, the actantial strategy and the semiotic square and the analysis of the creative elements that take place at different levels of textual interpretation. Therefore, we tried to find answers to the questions of how O. Henry created the semantic universe of the text and what is the role of culture in creating something in this universe.
Smith (2003) described five types of speech, namely narrative, narrative, description, information and argument. Smith examines the distinguishing features of each genre, focusing on grammatical rather than lexical information. He also discussed presentation issues: subject matter and concentration; changes in syntactic structure; and the subject, namely the concept (2003, 1999, 1991).
According to him, a close linguistic analysis of the text through the form of speech helps to understand the text. The short story "Gift of the Wise" is analyzed using a five-word method to objectively analyze the text leading to a better understanding of the text.
It is also examined whether all five methods are present in the same type of text, i.e. the story here, and whether their presence in the text improves understanding. The purpose of the research is to show the stylistic influence of the style of speech that can help to make a better and more accurate understanding of the text, especially from a teaching point of view.

The Work was read three times. One dollar and eighty-seven cents. The next day will be Christmas. It was clear there was nothing to do but flop down on the couch and scream. So Della did it. Which inspires the idea of behavior in life that causes sighs, sniffles and smiles, and sniffles dominate.
As the master of the house slowly falls from the first to the second, look at the house. This house was built for $8 a week. It's not the definition of a request, but it means the word for the request party. In the space below, there is a mailbox with no mail going, and an electric button that no mortal finger can pull the ring on.
Moreover, it is a card with the name “Mr. James Dillingham Young." "Dillingham" was thrown into the air during the past boom when the owner was paying $30 a week. Now that the income has been reduced to $20, what did they consider good enough to follow the people

It's beautiful and rare and beautiful—something a little closer to qualifying for the honor of being Jim. There is a staircase between the windows of the house. You may have seen a glass in the $8 room. A thin and agile person can, by looking at his thoughts in the form of a long wound, get an accurate idea of his appearance.
Dela, being thin, knows this. Suddenly, he left the window and stood in front of the glass. His eyes were bright, but his face disappeared within twenty seconds. She quickly removed her hair and let it fall down her length. Now there are two properties that James Dillingham Young is both very proud of.
One is Jim's gold watch that belonged to his father and grandfather. Second is Della's hair. If the Queen of Sheba lived in a room by the fairway, Della would have to live with her hair hanging out of the window to dry for a day only to be humbled by the wonderful decorations and gifts.
If King Solomon were a housekeeper, with all his wealth piled up in the house, Jim would pull off his guard every time he passed by, to see him tearing his beard with envy. So now, Della's beautiful hair fell to her sides, flowing and shining like a great brown stream.
It reached below her knees and looked almost like a dress. He did it again with fear and haste. Once she was dry for a minute and stood where a tear or two fell on the red carpet. His old brown jacket went on; to his old brown hat.
