The Gift Box Lexington Ky
The Gift Box Lexington Ky - This is the 3rd or 4th visit by our group of girls. We are never disappointed. Thoughtful service. Everyone in the group gets different things. There's a lot on the menu, but I always come back for the sampler plate. This place is awesome! Good food, great service and good company!

Will be back very soon! We tried the sample lunch and it was delicious. Everything was delicious and we also tried their delicious tea. What a fun place for a girls lunch (with a bit of shopping). Good menu, although a bit predictable. Prices were on the high side.
Service was good and we were not rushed. We didn't have a reservation and had to use GPS to find this place on our second trip, but it was a great find. The food is good but the desert is the best. Try KY Blended Tea, you won't be disappointed.
Great place for tea (awesome!) and snacks. Had the sampler plate: the chicken salad was delicious, the egg tart was nothing out of the ordinary, and the tangerine tea salad was a pleasant surprise. Not a place for quick, cheap eats; For an alternative tea drinking experience, check out…eye candy in the gift shop.
For The Plant Lover
Tip: Book in advance! I arrived at 2pm on a Saturday and the place was packed! (No men in sight, lol. Lots of groups of women.) Although taxed by the crowd, the waiters were friendly. Good atmosphere for lunch or afternoon tea. Peace, quiet. If the tea room is not busy, you can stay at your table to talk more.

If the restaurant is busy, you can always stop by the gift shop while you wait for your table. Quiche, chicken salad, tomato soup and sampling plate are standard. Desserts are varied and delicious. Good place for groups. I eat here once a month and the service is always exceptional.
And there were 18 people in a group ceremony. We had a reservation and a long table (in a corner) was booked for us. We ordered lunch from the menu. Chicken salad -- on a sandwich, on a sample plate, or as the star of a salad -- is very popular.
Iced tea and coffee were updated throughout. Reasonably priced in a beat-bath strip mall. Introduced. Also, the girls from my graduating class met here for lunch. Very good and relaxing. I filled up with potato soup, tangerine salad, and half an olive nut sandwich. The unsweetened raspberry tea is delicious.
For The Antiquer
The best thing that everyone should try is… the derby cake. (They call it something else) and recently had the opportunity to come here for lunch with my book club. I didn't even know they were there until they popped up as a recommendation on a website.
I always pass by that area and they are sitting. It turned out to be a great little lunch spot. It's not very fancy, but the staff are friendly and the food is good. I tried one of their templates. Unfortunately I don't remember what it's called and they don't have a website to look it up.

But it comes with a small salad, half a bread and a small bowl of soup. Of course they serve a variety of teas both hot and cold. It is a great economical alternative to the downtown teahouses. This restaurant is located in a mall on the southwest side of Lexington, KY.
The occasion was a group lunch and we booked in advance. As soon as we arrived we were seated and our orders were taken very quickly. It took about 30 minutes to be served, no doubt because this place has a lot of ladies lunches.
For The Kid (And The Kid At Heart)
Food is very good. Tomato or potato soup, salad, chicken, greens and jelly, custard, ham and biscuits, sweet bread. Cold and hot tea and coffee. I'm sure there are more items on the menu, but those are the ones we ordered. Our server was very pleasant and efficient.
She had to process our bill manually because the computer was broken. Although there were some delays we were all satisfied with our experience. And as another reviewer noted, it took a long time for us to get our drinks—the hostess finally arrived—and when I asked if they served iced tea, she said "NO
" Looking at the menu, I noticed "raspberry tea." Did she forget? Forgot something basic on a mini menu? After getting a list of what they had on the back of an old sales card, Elmwood was able to get the pomegranate. Food is very good.

The salad was crispy and every sandwich sample was delicious, although the bread seemed a bit stale. The fries are good, but a bit strange for afternoon tea. Maybe more fruit instead? Love the gorgeous decor with the teacups on the chandelier! Fun gifts to browse.
For The Sweet Tooth
I feel like there could be more to it to make it a little more elegant and special. He was surprised to learn that it had been open for six years. I think maybe they can't drink bitter yet, and my mother, sister and I love going to the tea room!
Good food and good service. I like soup and bread. After eating, we love to shop at the little store! Overall, The Tea Room...a great place to go with friends and family! Also found in a strip mall, it's a cute mix of gift shop and restaurant.
They are only open for lunch and have a great variety of sandwiches, salads, specials and desserts! Their bags of the day are filled with meringues. The tables... are beautifully decorated and well spaced so you will feel comfortable and easily chat with your dining mates.
Samler is a good choice as it offers many of their specialties and is a great place for a group of ladies to get together for lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. The service is very good and there is a good shopping area.
