Summer Gift Tags
In fact, today officially marks the first full day of summer. I don't know about you, but this is how I like to spend my little holidays. Pinterest would have you believe that a perfect day like this requires a full dessert table and lots of decorations, but the truth is that simple treats are good!
They say wine is better than cotton candy. His presence reigns supreme in every amusement park, carnival and outdoor party. I bought this fun cotton candy machine on Amazon a few years ago. I like to take it out for a special treat. The best part about this sweet piece of nostalgia is that you don't need to use granulated sugar to make sugar sand, you can actually use a piece of hard candy!
The flavor options are truly endless!!! Like it. We've tried everything from peppercorns to Jolly Ranchers. My personal favorite though? Werthers. Umm. If you don't want to buy your own cotton candy machine, you can buy bulk bags on Amazon. gift tags. I print my tags on plain white card using Cannon Pixma. It is perfect for small jobs around the house. If you don't have a good color printer at home, take the file to a local print shop and print it there. Cut the tags to your desired size and punch a hole in the top.

Cut two pieces of baking paper, which you can use to attach later. Make your own cotton candy at home using a paper straw as a cotton candy stick. Once the cotton candy is cooked, place it in an ice cream bowl. Attach a "Hello Summer" tag to a cotton candy straw and you're good to go!

I've always been a bit nervous about being an illustrator and scared to start. But I took a printable design e-course and learned how to start using illustrator for print!
I made a printable summer gift tag using the tricks I learned in the course. I even created a whole set of party printables, party banners, tags and toppers using the techniques from the course. I don't like making gifts and party prints, I like making prints for children's rooms.
