Stephen Starr is an American restaurateur and former entertainment promoter based in Philadelphia. He is the owner of the Starr Rumah Makan business, managing more than thirty restaurants under his umbrella.
Stephen's achievements in the culinary arts have earned him awards and prizes from organizations such as the James Beard Foundation. Stephen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey. When Stephen was a sophomore in college, his mother died. He was only 19 years old at that time.

I like to work. ” Stephen received his secondary education at Gateway Regional High School. He attended Temple University in Philadelphia and received a degree from the School of Media and Communication in 1976.
