When you reach 1,000 points, you will receive a $10 reward certificate. Depending on your spend, this may take some time. A simple cashback credit card can offer great value, as well as the flexibility of redeeming your rewards for cash whenever you want, to spend however you want.
The Stein Mart Platinum Mastercard® offers great benefits to new cardholders. You'll get a $10 Stein Mart gift certificate with your credit card in the mail, and you can even get 10% off your first online purchase. You are automatically enrolled in the Stein Mart Elite Rewards Program when you use your Stein Mart Platinum Mastercard® to earn $500 or more in Stein Mart purchases (online or in-store) during the
calendar year. When you achieve Elite status, upgrade your Stein Mart Platinum Mastercard® to the Stein Mart Elite Platinum Mastercard, which gives you more benefits. What you get: 2 Reward Points for $1 spent in-store and online at Stein Mart. You still get 1 reward point for every $1 spent elsewhere.

The Elite Earnings rate at Stein Mart is great, but you can do better with other rewards credit cards. See, for example, the Citi® Double Cash Card. It offers 2% cashback on all purchases - 1% on purchases and 1% on payments - and you don't have to meet any requirements.
You will encounter an incomplete redemption process full of limitations. To begin with, you cannot redeem rewards immediately; instead, you'll get a reward certificate, which arrives in the mail after one or two billing cycles. And while you can use these vouchers for purchases made with your Stein Mart Platinum Mastercard® at Stein Mart, you can't use them online, and you can't redeem them for cash or put them towards previous purchases
or payments on your account. (However, you can combine reward certificates with coupons or other in-store promotions.) You'll also get $100 in certificates at checkout. If you earn more than that, it will be carried over to the next billing cycle. Rewards are only good for three months, so use them or lose them.
And if you redeem a reward certificate for less than the value of the certificate, you lose the balance. Branded credit cards are known for their high interest rates, and the Stein Mart Platinum Mastercard® is no exception. The ongoing APR is 28.99% Variable - that's a higher percentage than the highest rate on a credit card account that offers interest.
