. read more We stopped as we were passing by. Enjoy tons of huckleberry gifts and products for sale. They even ship specific products at specific prices. The aquarium took my daughter by surprise. So many prizes and pretty things to see. The talking deer on the wall is cute.
We went in and visited the free trout aquarium which was both informative and fun. We also really enjoyed exploring the great gift shop. They have many unique, beautiful and affordable gifts and souvenirs. They even offer free popcorn. The bathroom is new and clean.

We didn't eat there but will try next time. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. What a great stop! The store is just up the highway and sells everything from huckleberry pies to pictures and the usual gift items. I suspect there is even a small casino near the store.

There is also a large trout tank in the back. Yard art is sold outside and the shop is very popular so parking is a bit difficult. Overall a nice stop. The store is packed with Montana merchandise. You'll find something for everyone. They give free popcorn while you shop!
Clean toilets and a variety of snacks and cushions. The car park is a bit tight, but there is a car park across the road. trout tank. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A selection of lingonberry treats and ice cream. What a great way to end a long trip!

They have lots of amazing Burt bees. . . read more When I'm on a road trip, I'm not looking for places to hike, bike, slide, ski, etc. I want to see the gift shop! ! (Tell me I'm not alone.) We found this gem in the small town of St. Louis.

register. They have a great gift shop! I must have been there for an hour. So many cute and unique items. They have a trout aquarium and popcorn machine with free popcorn to keep the kids and husband happy. This tourist center has lots of lovely clothes, furniture and souvenirs, there's something for everyone.
They also have lots of delicious food like ice cream and milkshakes. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This is a great place to buy last-minute souvenirs from Montana before heading to Idaho. Great ice cream cones, and a great place to stock up on ice and gas before heading home on I-90.
So when we were on the main highway through beautiful Montana, we saw a billboard on the side of the highway about "Best Huckleberry Shake" and we jumped in on the spur of the moment. Stopped at St. Mary's. Regis, Montana. Then the gift shop will not disappoint!
Lots of cool stuff for sale and even better they have an area for ice cream, coffee drinks and milkshakes. Well, I had to try the Huckleberry shake, it was amazing! Best shakes ever! I also need to mention that the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The young lady who ordered my milkshake (I'm sorry can't remember her name) was very sociable and really fun to interact with! He took my name for my order and gave me a really lovely smile! Unfortunately we were only there for so long, but I had a great experience there!

So if you're passing through this quaint hidden gem in the mountains of Montana, be sure to check out their gift shop! On our annual trip to Lake Flarhead we always stop along the way. Regis has taken on some things we couldn't live without.
They remodeled the store in April 2019 and moved the ice cream parlor closer to the entrance. Its sales have tripled, and one of its most popular treats is the huckleberry shake. We tried two places in Polson, Montana earlier this week and thought they were pretty good.
But wow! The best huckleberry shakes are definitely made in St. Louis. Regis Travel Center. You must try it! The ad says "Best Sake Ever," and we agree. Stopped twice for a lingonberry smoothie. They're not exaggerating at all, in fact, this is the best lingonberry smoothie ever!
