The Abbey Gift Shop and Bookstore is pretty much what one would expect from a traditional Catholic store. Of course we have rosaries, large medals (sterling silver and pewter) as well as less expensive medals, statues, crucifixes and crucifixes, baptisms, first communions and confirmations, and other Catholic spiritual items.
We also have a good selection of Catholic CDs, including Gregorian chants and music by our monks, as well as Christian films. But one can expect to find more unusual collections of religious objects. Book selections range from traditional Catholic prayers and devotions, spiritual readings, theology and catechism, lives of the saints, Catholic classics, Bibles and missals, children's books, to wholesome Benedictine spirituality books. Also available are books on the history of St. Joseph's Abbey, frescoes in the Abbey Church and the Monks' Refectory, and a DVD documentary on the life of Dom Gregory de Wit who colored our Church and Refectory.

The Abbey Gift Shop is located at the Abbey entrance on Route 31. As well as our full range of Trappist preserves, we also carry a wide range of quality goodies from Trappist communities across the country, including artisan chocolates, caramels, fruitcakes. , Fudge And Honey.
In addition, we offer an extensive range of religious art and devotional objects, a large selection of Catholic books, and handmade ceramics, artwork and paintings by monastic monks. The gift shop will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We reopen on January 2, 2022.
