In order to maintain a high quality of patient care and increase the safety of patients, visitors and staff, the following visiting hours policies have been established: Normal visiting hours are 6:30 am to 9:00 pm every day of the week.

Upon returning, they enter the hospital through the emergency department and check in with security. Admitted to hospital after 9.00 pm.
This is only through the Emergency Department Registration and Security Desk. Temporary concessions that allow more persons than the patient's attendant to visit the patient after 9:00 p.m. First approved by nursing supervisor. These exceptions are allowed for end-of-life situations. With exception, visitors other than the patient's caregiver spouse may not stay in the hospital overnight.

At 9:00 p.m., a patient support person already at the hospital goes to the emergency department reception desk and checks in with security to get a visitor badge. The switchboard will issue an overhead announcement at 9:00 p.m. To indicate the need to log in.
Depending on the patient's health, special care units may have limited visiting hours during the day. Special care units will set their own visiting hours based on the needs of the patient and the unit. Special care units will also determine the number of visits allowed during the day.

Special care units will inform visitors of their unique restrictions as outlined in this policy. Bon Secours St. Francis Health System reserves the right to ask visitors to leave the hospital if the safety of visitors, patient safety, or the safety of hospital staff is at risk.
This policy allows the hospital to adjust visiting privileges and hours as a result of any public health emergency or natural or man-made disaster. Nursing and/or security will limit the number of visitors visiting a patient at any one time, depending on the needs of the patient or the safety of the hospital.
As a guideline, no more than four (4) visitors should be in a patient's room at a time during normal visiting hours. In end-of-life situations, visitors must wait in the hospital lobby for more than the four (4) permitted visits to a patient's room. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Nursing will consult with all visitors bringing children to the hospital about any special safety requirements or provisions necessary for the child's safety before admitting the child to the patient's room. Children should not be left unattended anywhere in the hospital. Outpatient procedures and operations are performed during the day and evening.
The Children's Hospital At Saint Francis
Only one (1) support person may remain in the hospital while a patient is undergoing a procedure or surgery. The support person will wait in the designated hall until the nurse gives them permission to go to the pre-operative or recovery area. According to CDC guidelines, masks are recommended but no longer required in our facilities.
However, visitors should not visit patients who have had high-risk contact with someone who has recently had COVID-19, respiratory illness, or other symptoms associated with COVID-19. There are ATMs near the entrance to the cafe in St. Petersburg. Francis downtown. Stamps are available in vending machines adjacent to cafes in St. Petersburg.

In the chapels at st. Františka, people of all faiths are welcome. Located on the ground floor of Chapel St. Františka, immediately behind the vestibule on the left side. Services are held weekly. The Gift Shop in St. Francis Downtown is located in the lobby on the ground floor and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
