Solo Cup Gift Game
Almost every party I've been to in the last decade has had a very similar gift exchange along with other Christmas party games. Everyone brings a wrapped present and is given a number. The first person chooses a gift and unwraps it, the second person can steal that gift or choose another, etc.
I don't even have to write the exact details because you all know. This is the one game that everyone plays at their party every year, whether you are celebrating with family members for a family gift exchange with friends or even an office gift exchange.
This year I challenge you to break out of the usual gift exchange and try one of the unique gift exchange games below at your party. They would be perfect to match these Christmas games. Let last year be the last year you do anything boring.

You roll the dice and the dice decide whether you trade, steal or discard the gifts. This is by far one of the best gift exchange games I've ever played and my most viral gift exchange game for good reason - it's a blast! And you don't know what will happen until the last gift is unwrapped!

And print the cards that roll the dice, people will want to know what's going on with their gifts! Here are some great gift ideas for gift exchanges if anyone needs them! 1 – Ask everyone to sit in a circle with their wrapped present on their lap.

2 – Give the dice to a person in the circle and tell them to roll the dice and follow the instructions corresponding to the number they roll. For example, if they roll a 6, everyone passes the gift to the right, they roll an 8, and everyone passes to the left.
3 – Go around the circle letting everyone roll the dice twice (or as many times as you like). During round two, before anyone rolls, if they haven't unwrapped the present yet, remember to wrap them so that all the presents are unwrapped by the end of round two.

All these games use a set of custom cards specially designed for exchanging gifts. Some of the cards tell you what to do, others give you special actions that you can use to improve your chances throughout the game. This game plays just like any regular gift exchange with one exception: everyone gets a character card at the start of the game, characters inspired by A Christmas Carol.

These are probably all my favorites because they are all so much fun! Similar to the game above, the card you draw in this game tells you what to do with your gift. Only this time instead of random sayings, the themes of these cards are all based on the 12 Days of Christmas Carols.
It's perfect for a 12 day Christmas party! So not only is it fun, but it's funny to read what happened in the new version of this song (and the game!).
