So, I'm stuck with a Sky Zone gift card that the new owners won't honor. Young people working there do not know how or who to call to get it. I recently visited the Daytona Beach area, and had a very Clark Griswold-esque experience. I mean, no one died or anything, and I fought with my cousin Eddie, but a big fight was going on.
My children - aged 3 and 5 - asked me to take them here after hearing this. My son's friend did well in school so I told him that we can celebrate here. We ended up leaving before our time was up and they started the clock for our allotted time before we were even ready.
We needed to change socks, plus my kids wanted to eat first. We were in a hurry, so we ate popcorn quickly. I did get a few slices of pizza but they looked old. The worst thing is the staff and their policies are amazing.
Security Policy:
They follow us around everywhere and abuse my children. There is a joust platform with a foam pad underneath. You only play with sticks, the loser falls on the block. My son went up to check on her, then went into the room. They kicked him out for doing so and told him to go to the side pit if he "wanted to get in."

If he is joking with someone, they have no problem with it * falling off the platform into a scary, dangerous track with a lot of soft, foam cubes. But because no one is there to break it first, that's a very important OSHA violation.
Or something, in the pit on the side? There are trampolines to launch into the pit. I'm no Isaac Newton, but I'm sure Taboo Skip Off Just is better than that. Is the government promising here or nothing? Nothing makes sense. Radar O'Reilly can help.
I was surprised that I didn't have to fill out three forms to request a jump on the trampoline. That's a game, kids. But that's how it is with everything they play. Some employee - and by employee I mean whatever mopey teenager they can drag around the playground with - will tell my kids to stop what they're doing
Delivery Policy
My children are not bad. not dangerous. They follow orders that are sent. It was a dodgeball tournament, so they used a lot of balls for the tournament kids. The rest of us who weren't allowed to play were thrown into the other pit, but only about four dodgeballs were left for about 12+ kids to use.
No one will share. Children have a sense of protecting their balls like a ring dog over a plant. My daughter grabbed a bigger ball from the unused kids basketball hoop area, but they wouldn't let her have it. Her basketball leg is too high for her to play, so my daughter is always on the sidelines of every game, trying not to cry.

The workers let some other children play in the middle of the road. They hit the ball to go. He almost hit my three year old son many times. Instead of playing in the designated area, they abuse my son and daughter. The staff has no problem with bratty kids.
Other things: My daughter jumped into the blocks and got stuck for about 5 seconds. He tried to get out a little bit, but I'm not a helicopter parent, so I let him try to learn to get out on his own instead of carrying her.
Return Policy
The workers were not happy about this. He doesn't cry or get angry, he doesn't know how to go to the ball pit. He was educated. The staff wouldn't let my kids collect the foam blocks. They leave other children, but not mine. They were asked why, only to get a shrug and a lame answer.
They have a gladiator-style barricade on the stairs. It's like part of the redemption of the night. But it's not. This tutorial is very difficult for my three year old. The only way up was a rope ladder that my daughter couldn't reach. She started crying because she was stuck, so I helped her out.
While I was doing this, no less than four different staff members came to tell me that I couldn't help my daughter when she was scared. I have to pay, or they help me. What could be fun to watch - my daughter clapping and knocking over a teenage girl who doesn't know how to deal with a wild girl who won't let strangers approach her
