Cards can be purchased online and redeemed at over 700 local businesses - retailers, restaurants, herbalists, attractions and more.

Building on the success of Erie County's popular business recovery grant program, a $20 million direct investment in eligible local businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Erie County Business Task Force is partnering with Visit Buffalo Niagara, the Chamber of Commerce Amherst. , the Erie County Industrial Development Agency and the NFTA are working together to encourage local businesses and boost economic activity ahead of the holiday season.
The second phase of the program will encourage local businesses with a promotional campaign to buy local products and the eGift Shop 716 card program to encourage holiday shopping from independent Erie County businesses while supporting Erie County merchants in what is , traditionally the busiest time of the year.
Why Yiftee Egift Cards?
The eGift Shop 716 card uses a "buy one, get one free" promotion ($25) to amplify the program's economic impact. The card promotion is estimated to generate nearly $1 million in new revenue for county businesses. Erie County Deputy Executive Maria Whyte was joined by A.J.

The Shop 716 card is electronic and can be sent by text, email or printed for use after purchase. There is no cost to merchants or businesses to join the program. Consumers can purchase the cards online at www.amherst.org/shop716. For a limited time, shoppers can purchase a gift card for $25 and receive a free gift card of the same amount.
