Shoe Gift Box - This post may contain affiliate links. Read on and I'll show you how to replicate a shoe box as a gift box and share one of my favorite ways to present a gift. Many bikers and crafters cling to scraps of material, thinking it's all you need for the next project.

Shoe Gift Box
While I'm always looking for scrap paper or tape or accessories (a magnet for any store's packaging department!) I also collect boxes! I keep shoes, chocolate boxes, old jewelry, gift boxes, jars, dishes, kitchen rolls, cardboard boxes and the list goes on. When a gift feels like it could be presented in a specific container, it goes into my bundled box.
Yes, I am a shepherd! These boxes or containers have been updated and upgraded with new gift boxes! I looked for colorful, geometric patterned paper, then placed the box on the plain side of the gift wrap. Then cut the appropriate amount of gift wrapping paper, leaving enough space to extend the paper to the four edges of the shoe.
Next, attach the middle of the paper box and the plain side of the paper. Place the box on its long side and make 2 cuts where the long side starts and ends - this helps to deal with the short sides. Before stapling and stapling the wrapping paper on the long edge, fold the edge of the paper about 1 cm for a smooth finish.

Step 2
Secure it by covering with double-sided tape. Now fold the long edge and secure it with the help of double sided tape. Repeat steps 4-6 on the other top side of the box. Start by folding the paper over the short end of the box.
You may need to play around with how you bend these edges so they look the same on both ends. Top tip: Play around with the buns before you tape them until you're happy with the look. It was originally designed to be a bit of a deterrent.
So if you want to make a barrier, add small pieces of brown paper to the line of the box. If you have a small obstacle, you can stop at the previous step. I went ahead and placed the gift inside the box and wrapped the box in the same geometric gift wrapping paper.
But you can repeat the steps above and close the lid to achieve the same look. Then add a natural double bow and a brown card gift tag for the finishing touches. This is it! Here's how to use a shoebox as a gift box.

Step 3
Now there is a beautiful covered gift box made from a used box! This is an excellent money-saving, eco-friendly way to gift. You can be more eco-friendly by reusing wrapping paper - or salvaged old tissue paper, or newspaper if you like the look.
