What payment methods can you use to purchase a gift card? NOTE: Gift card orders cannot be purchased online with a Sam's Club or Walmart gift card. The gift card number and PIN can be found on the back of the card, below the cash scratcher area.
Yes. Gift cards with barcodes have a gift card number and PIN code. It can also be used as a magnetic stripe gift card. NOTE: While Walmart gift cards can be used at our Sam's Club gas stations, barcode-only gift cards cannot be scanned at our pumps.
You must use a gift card with a magnetic strip at the fuel station. A Membership Gift is a Sam's Club prepaid membership card that can be redeemed at any club for up to a full year's membership. It cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.
Visit the Membership Desk, redeem this gift card and enjoy all the benefits of being a Sam's Club member. If you bought online, you must activate the card via the confirmation email sent to it. After activation, bring the card to any membership desk for activation.

The gift of membership has no expiration date and is not refundable for cash except in states where required by law. The membership card provided by Sam's Club is not an official membership card. The membership gift voucher gift can only be used to pay the membership fee.
If you have purchased a gift card in the club and somehow it is not activated, visit the club again to activate it. If you purchased a Sam's Club gift card online and it is not active when you receive it, please contact us. If you purchased a third-party gift card and need help activating it, call the number on the back of the card.
NOTE: Only applies to Sam's Club branded cards (not eGift cards) or third party gift cards. On the account page, scroll down and select "Gift Cards" under the Checkout Settings heading. On the Checkout screen, at the bottom of the payment options, select + Add Gift Card. Enter the card number and the 4 digit PIN code (Get the PIN code by scratching the security film on the back). Click the [Save] button of the card you wish to use for the transaction.
The button will not be usable until all the required information is entered. You can use up to 4 gift cards during one online transaction. If you choose to return an item purchased with a gift card, the refund will be credited to the original or new gift card. We recommend not throwing out any gift card if you are unsure of your purchase. Sam's Club may only redeem Sam's Club Gift Cards in states where required by law.
