Samuel is the senior pastor of Chestuee Baptist Church in Calhoun, Tennessee.

I asked him to be invited because he is one of the anointed ones I know. I hope you like what he has to say! “We bought at a price; do not be servants of men." (1 Corinthians 7:23) Redemption is the fulfillment of Jesus Christ, who purchased our salvation on the cross.

Redemption was achieved through the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. However, sometimes in some cases. people forget this. Life is a daily struggle when we look at it through a lens that is not redemptive in nature, the lens of life changes our thinking and expands our view of the great things that can benefit us.

others, including ourselves, to others. The other lens that exists today: Lens that glorifies truth or salvation through what we do, instead of accepting redemption as a gift. do, instead of focusing on the relationship with God, the lens of religion cannot see that the flow of good deeds cannot come from closeness to God alone.

a good person, I don't care about anyone." This lens can make people see redemption as something to strive for rather than receive. Can you imagine living every day, hoping you've saved enough? That's no way to live. It's freeing to look at it through the lens of redemption because it takes away the fear of losing your salvation. Through that lens, there is no such thing as a refund. Buy it at a price! Paul, a disciple of Jesus Christ, spoke profoundly.

to the church: "Now he who confirmed us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God, who also sealed us, and gave us the Spirit of our heart as a guarantee." (2 Corinthians 1:21-22) here "seal" is a sign of ownership and evidence. In the business world of Paul's day, this word meant that goods, money or documents were guaranteed to be delivered. No one could dispute the seal's claim. The seal

God is a guarantee for us that we have received complete salvation from him! This word was used in Paul's day as a contract of sale and service. It describes security deposit in business transactions. This word is also used in engagement rings! The safe deposit of the Holy Spirit guarantees our redemption!

1. The Works Lens:

We are safe because Jesus redeemed us. Personally, I gained a lot of freedom in my life when I learned that God does not ask me to live according to human standards. He only asked me to receive the gift of salvation. I realize now that Christ is the holy standard, and that is more than enough.

I live in redemption now, not for him. My life is a result of redemption, not an attempt at redemption. If your life is miserable and stressful, it may be because you are looking through the wrong lens. Jesus answered him: "If you had known the gift of God, and if you had known who said to you, give me water, if you had asked him, he would have given you living water." But a gift is not like a crime. For if many died through the sin of one, the grace of God and the gift of God abounded through the grace of one man, Jesus Christ.

Because the result of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. He who did not spare His Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not give us anything free with Him? For by faith we are saved;

3. The Morality Lens:

For many people, this solution is simple. Human nature almost demands that we connect something to the end. And many over the years have felt compelled to add to the central message of Christianity. But the Bible makes it clear that salvation is sola gratia - not grace alone.

As Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by faith you have been saved." Therefore, salvation is a gift of God's grace. When a person receives the gift of salvation, he is said to be justified - to be acceptable to God (or right with God). The method of defining justice is called justification.

Although all Christians agree that it is the grace of God that saves people, they do not agree much on what is the role of man in this whole. Obviously, a Christian needs to believe in Jesus Christ, but what matters most is whether faith alone is sufficient for salvation.

The Christian church is divided on this issue. Catholics believe that they receive the gift of God's grace through faith and by partaking of sacraments (such as baptism, receiving communion, confirmation in church, and confessing sins to a priest). Baptism is especially important and Catholics consider it the main condition for salvation.
