Show Decorator: The show decorator is a JP display. They are local, well respected in the industry and know our venue very well.
Please see the attached JP Display Service Kit. The discount ends on November 1, 2022 for electrical, carpet and furniture orders. Submissions will be accepted from October 10, 2022 and no later than November 4, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Exhibitors are responsible for their own electricity and lighting. If you need electricity for your booth, please order from JP Display by calling 801.523.7083 or emailing orders@jpdisplay.com. The overhead lighting at the Mountain America Expo Center is excellent and many exhibitors find this indoor lighting to be sufficient. A battery powered electric solution is an alternative solution for you. The designer of the show is JP Display. JP Display can order tables, skirts, waste baskets, chairs, carpets etc.

You can call 385.468.3845 to find out if your product requires a permit or food control card. Applicants can send their applications by email to healthfood@slco.org. You must apply at least 12 days before the show to avoid the $40 late fee.
You can apply in person at 788 Woodoak Lane, Murray, UT 84107. Please note that each exhibitor and/or food vendor must have a temporary handwashing station in their booth. See the Food Safety Guide and the Temporary Food Services Guide for examples: www.slcohealth.org/programs/foodProtection/tempFoodBooths.html. You need to make sure you meet the requirements of the Salt Lake Health Department.
SAMPLE SIZE: Samples should not exceed 2 ounces for food and 4 ounces for beverages. No food or drink related to the agreement may be placed or served on the site without the permission of your session manager. Each special food product must be packaged and prepared for home use.

You can get hot water for your hand washing station at the end of the building (Building 5) through the only door in the black wall at Twin Peaks Market. Your cockpit display must be flame-free. Tree branches, grass, sawdust or other flammable materials will not be permitted in any exhibit.

All curtains, drapes, table covers, skirts, carpets or any decorative materials used in the exhibition must be fire rated and/or fire retardant. (International Fire Code Section 800 of 2015). The use of oilcloth, tarpaulin, cardamom paper, nylon, orlon and other synthetic materials cannot be made fire retardant, and their use is strictly prohibited.
All enclosed or covered exhibits, including trailers, sheds, canopies, etc., exceeding 100 square feet in area shall be equipped with a smoke detector at the top of the structure. Covered displays of 300 square feet or more will require service from certified Fire Watch personnel.
All products and materials must be in the exhibition space during the exhibition; FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS. You can't expand the display on the track, stand or sit on the track. Tax information must be provided prior to the event - see attached page. Utah currently has tax rates of 7.25% on sales and 3% on prepackaged food.
Tax representatives will be on hand to hand out forms and issue a temporary sales tax license to sell your product in the Mountain America Expo building and at our event. You do not need to purchase a City of Sandy Business License as the show will provide one for you.
