Special attention is paid to service animals. For small dogs or dogs trying to escape, we recommend bringing a crate or carrier for use in our kennels. Please check in at the hotel desk in the atrium to check kennel availability and borrow a kennel lock.
Check the weather forecast for the date of your visit to ensure your pet's safety. Due to health requirements, pets are not allowed in the cave. EV charging stations are available in Ruby Falls on a first-come, first-served basis. Disabled parking is available with a valid disabled parking permit.

Wheelchair accessible locations include: Blue Heron Overlook, Village Plaza, Ticket Atrium, Village Gift Shop, Reading Verch, Restrooms, Castle Café and Castle Front Verch. Due to the natural formations, narrow passageways and small steps, the cave is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers. Visitors to the Cave Walk must be able to stand for 1.5 hours and keep up with their tour group.
A gentle walking tour follows the cave trail at a slower pace set by the group, with several opportunities to rest on benches along the cave trail while your guide provides detailed information. Built to today's accessibility standards, Historic Lookout Mountain Tower's observation decks are accessible by stairs only and are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

As you can imagine, our park offers sensory stimulation including crowds, darkness, low and varied cave lighting, noise, colorful and changing lighting, narrow cave passages, volume-changing music during the waterfall light show, group tours, enclosed areas and being close.
