Paint the Town Pink recently donated $40,000 to the Richmond Baptist Health Foundation to help expand cancer care services at Baptist Health Richmond. This is the first gift of a very generous multi-year commitment by Paint the Town Pink to support the new Cancer Center.
Ica Shop
Paint the Town Pink was created in 2009 to raise awareness and education about cancer while people shop, dine and visit local businesses in Madison County. Prior to the most recent donation, more than $120,000 had been donated to Madison County organizations to support the campaign's mission.
With community at the heart of the campaign's mission, other key initiatives have been implemented over the past 14 years to ensure access to high-quality cancer care services in Madison County. In 2021, the Oncology Care Patient Support Fund was established in partnership with the Richmond Baptist Health Foundation to support patients in their most difficult time with medication, transportation, food and housing.

In 2022, funds were given to a group of local women who sew quilts by hand for all new cancer patients. Thanks to the continued generosity of the community, Paint the Town Pink continues to be a thriving campaign. The 15th annual Paint the City Pink campaign begins in October 2023.
