Where Did You See A Lower Price?
A sweet, concentrated champagne or jam flavor with a blend of flavors. Unique, aromatic with a nice mix of heavy bass notes in it. Appearance: Attractive red/gold color, leaves significant wear and tear. Can be mistaken for bourbon in color. Taste: Sweet entry, then dry.
Smooth silky body, with lots of ripe fruit notes, almost a raisin or ice wine style with hints of vanilla and oak more than their other brands and a little bit of nice dirt, vanilla and a permanent oak tree. Drinks: We tried the drinks mentioned on the website, which we can recommend.
Works well with Black Pagoda (which is a Manhattan brandy - see Gary Regan's Bartender's Bible) and creates a whiskey-like flavor profile for a wonderful cognac base for many traditional bourbon wines. Also made a nice Mint Julep. Bottle: A little different from their standard bottle production: simple clear glass cognac bottle (think bell or apple shape and long neck), with a lozenge shaped medallion stamped on the shoulder in 1738 as something unique to Centaur.
