Come to Pagosa every year and can't leave until we visit Rainbow Gifts. Everyone is so nice and so many fun gifts. The jewelry is beautiful!!" After growing up on the plains of Oklahoma, Rainbow Gift Shop owners Bill and Brenda Eave dreamed of living in the mountains.
They fell in love with Pagosa Springs and decided to make it their home. Bill was working there as a taxidermist at the time, and Brenda traded furs and cash with local Native American jewelry artists. Over time, their business slowly grew, allowing them to expand into an old motel building on the edge of the lot.

Due to several requests from customers, Bill and Brenda eventually began bringing in gifts and souvenirs. Bill built a separate building as a gift to Brenda to house Native American art. Bill closed off the space between the two buildings, creating the space that is now the Stone Room, completing the Rainbow Gift Shop as it is.
