The answer is to give the nurse a gift! When choosing the perfect breastfeeding gift, you want to try to think of a gift that will actually be used instead of just sitting there collecting dust or something impractical, so don't choose something too expensive or extravagant.

Alternatively, local bakeries offer great options. Here is one near me that I like. My absolute favorite place to get badge spools is from BadgeBlooms. This company was founded by a sister and has tons of great products. You can get ones specific to your unit, fun options, more professional ones, and even essential oil diffusers.
I loved these when I was pregnant and the scents were really heavy. Just put a few drops of oil on the pillow inside and you can snore PRN! The scent is not strong enough for other people to get it, but strong enough for the wearer.

They are a 10/10 recommendation from me! A good water bottle makes all the difference in a shift. I like the ones that don't sweat and don't need to be refilled. Two of my most favorite brands are below. (I literally have both on my desk right now. My coffee is a Yeti, my water is a Hydroflask!) Yeti makes a phenomenal product that will keep water cold for hours.
Here's the biggest you can get. It's great, but it doesn't fit a car cup holder. However, it is large enough to not require multiple refills per shift. Here is a smaller option that fits the cup holder. The only downside is that they don't have a waterproof lid since it's a mold and not a real water bottle.
Many color options are available. The hydro bottle is also great. 32 oz is the largest option, but it also won't fit a cup holder (which is what I'm currently using). The 18 oz will fit in a cup holder, but will need to be refilled several times per shift.

A good pair of socks is not cheap, so getting really nice socks feels like a treat. For regular socks, Bombas are expensive but amazing. These wool grip socks are under $50, but you won't find much more than Bombs for less. Lululemon has a nice pack of 3 athletic socks that would be great for work.

Here are my favorite full socks, and here is a sleeve option for those who like to wear them with sneakers. The air in the hospital is very dry.
