We already went grocery shopping, but you buy too much, the fridge is very small, and there is no coffee maker like other resorts. Pop Century has small things to buy, but I don't think there is a grocery store. What we did was take a cab, go to the nearest grocery store, buy what we needed (which was a few minutes away) and have it all for the week.

We have used a food delivery service called Garden Shop a few times. If you order online, they will deliver the items you want directly to the resort. We get snacks, soda, and breakfast. We also shop there. The shops on the site are very basic but have your basic options but can be expensive.
Pop Century has several light meals. At the end of the street where Downtown Disney is located, there is a regular grocery store. . You should go to the Doubletree. At the end of Central Disney Road is a multi-lane street. There is a McDonald's right across the street and a grocery store in the same square.

It is a short walk or taxi ride from Downtown Disney. As you mentioned, I have been to several Disney resorts that have a separate grocery store. There is no store like this in Pop Century! We looked everywhere for it! I think that's the way to get a cheap room rate!

If you don't have a car or want to avoid spending time at the grocery store, I recommend using Amazon Pantry or Staples to have it delivered to your room. Last time we were there, I had two cartons of water and two cartons of long-life milk sent from Staples - free shipping when you have a rewards account.

I brought cereal in my suitcase, and then I had souvenirs. There really aren't any good dining options on Disney property. You will either have to leave your property or find an online grocery delivery service. No way. You are at a resort and you are expected to buy their merchandise.
