One year, Hero Boy is chosen because of his strong belief in Christmas, something he wasn't sure about earlier in the movie. Decide to have one of Santa's silver reindeer bells. These bells are special because they can only be heard by those who have a strong faith and believe in the spirit of Christmas.
Usually, when children grow up, they can no longer hear the bell because they have lost faith and belief in Santa Claus over time, but Hero Boy was one of the few who was able to hear it throughout his life. After Hero Boy gets the call, he and the other boys get back on the train on the way back.
The other boys ask to see the bell, but Hero Boy just feels a hole in his pocket when he tries to reach for it. One of the boys offers to go out to find him, but the train was already moving. Fortunately, the next morning, Hero Boy finds a bell in the gift with Santa saying that he was in his sleigh the whole time and he needs to fix that hole in his pocket.

Santa Claus is a kind old man who gives presents to children every Christmas Eve that opens on Christmas Day. He also chooses one of the children who traveled to the North Pole on the Polar Express to receive their first Christmas present, which could be anything they wanted.

Just after the kids get off the Polar Express, Santa appears and everyone cheers. Go to the children and choose Hero Boy to receive the first gift of Christmas. Boy hero, sitting on Santa's lap in his sleigh, asks the sleigh for one of the silver bells because he enjoys the beautiful sound they make, so Santa asks the elf to cut one of the bells.
The elf throws it, and catches it, announcing the first gift of Christmas. Just then, the clock strikes midnight, so Hero Boy gets the bell and leaves the sleigh, then Santa Claus flies to deliver presents to children around the world. During the journey, he finds the silver bell that fell out of Hero Boy's pocket hole in his sled.
He puts the bell in a gift box, where he watches as he explains what happened and advises Hero Boy to fix that hole in his pocket. In North Pole Square, children, conductor and elves await the arrival of Santa Claus. When he arrives, the elves line up on top of each other, preventing Hero Boy from seeing him.
Role In The Book
As the reindeer cheer, one of their silver bells comes loose and falls in front of Hero Boy. He picks it up and after saying "I believe" to himself, calls and hears its sound. Santa listens and Hero Boy gives him the bell, saying he thinks it's his.
After that, he talks to the kids, telling the All-Knowers to be patient while they wait for the announcement and show some humility, then congratulate Hero Girl on her confidence and Christmas spirit and Billy on making new friends. Santa announces Hero Boy as the recipient of the first gift.

In the sleigh, Hero Boy whispers in Santa's ear that he wants the silver bell. Santa picks up the bell and declares it the first gift of Christmas, then gives it to Hero Boy, saying it's as good a symbol of Christmas as he is and advising him to keep it in a safe place.
The clock then strikes midnight, so Hero Boy leaves the sleigh and Santa goes to make his deliveries. He later finds the silver bell in his sleigh and puts it in a gift box (the same shape as Billy's gift) with a note advising Hero Boy to fix the hole in his pocket.

He delivers Billy's gift some time before Billy is taken to his house, but he doesn't get to Hero Boy's house before Hero Boy does. Santa Claus is mentioned in the songs "When Christmas Comes to Town", "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town", "Silver Bells" and "Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane)".
Chris Van Allsburg based his book on the appearance of Santa Claus in the writer David Macaulay [2]. Tom Hanks first brought the book to the attention of Robert Zemeckis in 1999, hoping to play both the director and Santa Claus.[3][4] In the film, Santa Claus was animated using motion capture, as were most of the film's human characters, provided by Tom Hanks, who also provided the voice.
However, some keyframe animation was done to improve his movements.[5] When playing the role, I intended the character of Santa Claus to be basically what the audience perceives him to be, but a little mysterious.[3] Hanks would help portray himself as his characters by wearing different shoes for each role, including special shoes for Santa Claus, as the actors did not wear costumes on set.[3]
