Our team fully understands the importance of the closing date. On the morning of the closing day, my team at Eastwood showed they understood the importance of the day and brought a pineapple plant to my new home.

Now that gift is a double whammy for me! I began to wonder how the pine tree became a symbol of acceptance in our society. After all, now that I think about it, the pineapple image pops up in home decor and design, on welcome mats, and in countless other places.
A quick internet search reveals that the symbol dates back to Christopher Columbus when he anchored off the coast of present-day Guadeloupe in 1493. While exploring, he found a delicious pineapple, a fruit previously unknown in Europe. . In fact, fresh fruit was rare in Europe and only available for a short time.
