This is the best graduation gift ever since my mom gave me a letter signed by my family, friends, and teachers at my graduation in high school, I wanted to throw a oh, where are you going to the graduation party. I finally got my chance recently and found the Oh the Places You'll Go party to be a very fun, colorful and emotional theme.

The color scheme for this O, The Places You'll Alloy party is inspired by the art on the book covers and includes pastel yellows, blues, oranges, greens, purples and pinks. I found that looking for "pastel rainbow" supplies helped me find the perfect go to party decorations.

Unicorn party supplies would also go well with this color scheme. Since this book has a lot of inspirational lines, a large part of our party decorations were decorated with Oh, Where Will You Go quotes (listed below). I framed the quote in navy blue and pink in an IKEA 8″x10″ FISKBO frame, to match the party colors.

Cardboard Party Invitations A must-have! Book of Dr. Seuss. Display with some non-flammable signs for party guests to leave a special graduation message. The guest book desk signs (see link for free printables in the printables section later in this article) come in an IKEA TOLSBY 4" x 6" frame (
unfortunately these frames are no longer sold at IKEA, but you can find great deals on Amazon). Our destination decor features white rainbow colors and other Seuss touches. Oh, where are you going! rainbow stickers were also mixed in: pink flowers. Fresh flowers are a great way to spice up your party decorations. Oh, The Places You’ll Go Quotes For Party Signs
I love using candy melts as an easy way to add some party color to the food (see my Candy Melt Ideas: 4 Party Candy Melt Recipes post for more ways to use candy melts). For this oh where are you going party, I dipped a few things in white candy melts and dipped them in candy melts in other party colors (pink, orange, orange yellow, lime green, turquoise and lavender)
pastel candy. look, sometimes my hands are a little heavy, but no one seems to mind. Swirl Cup Cake. Decorating cupcakes with swirl icing is super easy thanks to this Color Swirl 3-Color Piping Bag Coupler Set from Wilton. I decorated half of the cupcakes in pink, blue and yellow and the other half in orange, green and purple.
For the topper, I used the technique in my Easy DIY Cupcake Toppers and Printable Cupcake Topper Art (find a link to a free printable at Oh, Where Do You Go to Print below). Marshmallow pop. To match the theme, I made pops on paper straws in pastel colors instead of pop sticks.

I think they look soussian, like truffle trees! To display them, I used the Wilton cardboard pop display stand. The cardboard stand allowed me to make a small hole to fit the straw. Bacon Wrapped Lil' Smokies. With all the sweets, we need desserts that are both easy to grab and eat.
Oh, The Places You’ll Go Decorations
These work well and are very easy to do. As part of the whole food display, I used this white cake stand with another white cake stand that I already had.
