Yes, I'm looking for you Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys. It is basically a film about a blind woman named Nora Richards who spends her time participating in local charities, Christmas pageants, rescue whale rallies and other gentle activities. However, after seeing the sun one day, he falls down and becomes blind.
He is offered help by his friends and family but his blindness destroys his spirit and turns him into the Grinch of Bennington Idaho. Finally he realizes that it's his turn to be caught by the others, and he completely ruins his Christmas pageant (or is it Madeline's match?) to the world (well, to the 10 people in the audience) of it.
