As with most games, these Collectibles are not mandatory to find, but Neon White encourages you to collect Gifts that you can use to unlock new scenes, several side quests, and even a secret ending for other characters. This Neon White guide links you to the Mission Gift Guide, which helps you pinpoint the location of each Gift in the game, and explains how to give Gifts to other characters.
Of course, the first step to giving a gift is to complete the level to get the bronze medal, then bounce back to find and collect the gift. Each Gift you collect is colored and themed to match one of the characters you meet, as shown in the diagram below: Once you have a Gift in your inventory, you can give it to the appropriate character by returning to the
Neon White hub where you can see the map of Central Sky. On the map, you will see pictures of different characters, and if they have a gift, an orange Gift icon will appear next to their picture. Go to the character's location and talk to them, and soon you'll get a message asking if you want to give them a gift.
