Updating so some information may not be completely accurate. Check back in a few minutes. Casual combo with modern budget Junk WU (Azorius) Hello guys! This is my first attempt at creating here so any feedback on the format would be appreciated. It should be noted that this deck is often more casual, the kitchen table more fun than competitive.

Also, this is a deck that interests me so suggestions to improve it are very welcome. The goal of the deck is that we don't use Refurbish on turn 4 to target God-Pharaoh's Gift in the graveyard and start sending powerful threats like the Angel of Invention to immobilize and kill our opponents.

Right now, I can't afford to spend countless dollars on shiny cardboard, so I'm sad to only budget myself around $200 or less. Also, I'm not worried about extra boards at the moment, but suggestions for one are welcome. Blue is always a part. As for other colors, I've tried different versions of the deck, but overall I feel Azorius.

Red can have some interesting combos to do multiple combat moves with effects like Combat Celebrant, Black might have better graveyard synergy, but stays on 4 turns, stable and remove the interesting end-game threats, minus some, feel more satisfied. Also, the land base looks bad with 3 colors on the budget.

God-Pharaoh's Gift: The deck is built around. While it's complicated, once that value is created you're set. Side note about the rule: Tokens generated from this will retain their value. For example, if someone tries to kill your resurrected Inventor Angel, it can't be targeted because the card still counts as 5 CMC instead of 0. Note that immortalized creatures are still

is 0 CMC. Another obvious interpretation of the relevant rule is that the GPG does not target a creature in the graveyard. In other words, your opponent cannot banish a creature you choose to resurrect in response. Renewal: Second half of combo. Take this in your hand and keep it there.

Hedron Crab: You're hoping to play on curvy, so if this little guy shows up on turn 1 and survives, you've got at least 9 cards from this guy on turn 4. Here's how It's fastest to get cards onto the field, so getting cards early really helps build GFG and action threats.

Crab makes your life very easy. Worst case is 4/4 when acquired with GFG. Strategic Planning: I chose this for the A Chart Course because I found it easier to dig 3 cards deep into the deck and chose to dig 2 cards deeper and then discard.

The God Pharaoh's Gifts

There is obviously controversy behind running both. Ideally you would use this turn 2, looking for whatever part of the combo you need. Intelligence Champion: This Snakeman works. Robbery 2 cards is really fun when it is played. This is also a great target for GFG as we'll be drawing 4 cards and discarding 2, giving us more cards on hand and more threat in the cemetery.

If you flood, the undead champion gives a strong body and many draws. An interesting interaction with Angel of Invention and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is that their song effect will be applied to the trigger. So 5 draws with Angel and 6 draws with Norn.

However, if a champion's ETb is removed before it is resolved, we will unfortunately receive nothing. If you want smooth, you can choose to draw based on its strength after removing it. So you subtract 0 and get rid of 2. If you want something in the graveyard, you can get rid of it this way.

Angel of Invention: The perfect target for GFG. It returns as a 6/6 rush/life link/vigilance/flying creature singing across our board. Also we can expand more and make servo motor with 4/4. Talk about a deal. Flying is a great steal and the Lifelink/Vigilance combo leaves no chance to counterattack.

Card Choices:

If they attack, you get more lives! It's almost always the #1 pick to respawn for this reason. If this is in your hand and you have 5 mana, it's a great game. In general, you'll want to build a wide board with Servos in this case as Angels are less dangerous at 4/3 with no rush.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite: Well... full disclosure, this card is here because it's interesting. +2/+2 is good for our board and helps to end the game, but -2/-2 is a support tool for the opponent's board. She's also a 4/4 hasty/vigilant creature, which isn't bad.

If she's not eliminated, Norn will end the game early and our opponents will cry over our chad creatures looking at their beta board. It can be difficult to use her, but personally I would remove this whenever possible. Zetalpa, Primal Dawn: ...What? It's a big dinosaur!

I had to include a large dinosaur. I mean, look at all the soup keywords! Okay, here's another tag here because it's funny. 4/4 Haste/Fly/Double Strike/Alertness/Trample/Indestructible with GPG back. This is another potential game ending. He swings a turn with 8 damage and he can block and hit almost anything.
