Boxed lunches/snacks will be available for purchase during this year's pilgrimage. Visitors who want to enjoy a hot meal are advised to check out the local restaurants along Route 40 just down the mountain. If you want to stay overnight, check out our website for a list of local hostels and hotels.
This year, there will be no overnight accommodation for campers at the Mount St. Macrina site, including the campsite. A limited number of self-drive RVs are permitted by appointment only (contact Sister Carol at 724-438-7149). Visitors are required to wear masks when entering the inner shrines and buildings such as the religious gift shop, prayer hall and restrooms.
Visitors to the monastery (Motherhouse) this year come only to the family of the sisters. There will be no shuttle service at the property. The Sisters are very happy to welcome our beloved pilgrims to the Holy Macrina area this year.
