We are also attaching audit copies of nonprofit organizations that have spent $750,000 or more in federal grant money in fiscal years since 2016. This audit was released to the Federal Audit Clearinghouse. Every corporation that is approved as tax-exempt by the IRS must file Form 990 annually, unless it receives less than $200,000 in revenue and has less than $500,000 in assets, in which case it must file Form 990-EZ.
Organizations earning less than $50,000 do not need to file both forms, but must allow the IRS to conduct business using the "email card" on Form 990N. Nonprofit Explorer has organizations that claim tax exemption under each of the 27 sections of section 501(c) of the tax code and file Form 990, Form 990EZ, or Form 990PF.
