Microsoft pays with Amazon gift certificates, which are like cash, if you shop frequently on Amazon. If you've used Bing Rewards before, you'll be familiar. The program is called Microsoft Rewards and rewards you for using Microsoft Edge. It is still only available to US residents.

Here's how it works. Rewards programs are only attractive if they have good rewards. So let's see what Microsoft has to offer. You can buy raffle tickets to win Microsoft products like Surface Book and Xbox One S. You can also redeem rewards like Windows Store gift cards, Xbox gift cards, and Skype credits.
The most exciting options are at the bottom of the page: $5 gift cards to Amazon.com, Starbucks, and GameStop. If you're a frequent Amazon.com shopper, a $5 gift card is worth $5 in cash. That $5 becomes part of your Amazon gift card balance and you can use it for anything—it doesn't even expire.

Microsoft's rewards program would be very interesting without this reward. A $5 Amazon.com gift card is worth 5,250 points. You can earn up to 150 points per day from Bing.com searches on your desktop (5 points per search), 100 points from Bing searches on your phone (5 points per search), and 150 points per month from active browsing.
With Microsoft Edge (5 points per hour). There are also other bonus offers. when we wrote this, there were 170 additional bonus offers in the rewards panel. Microsoft offers a new set of bonuses once a day. These bonus offers only require you to search for certain items on Bing and visit other Microsoft sites, such as MSN.
Microsoft Is Giving Away $5 Amazon Gift Cards
Initially, you can earn 50 points per day just from Bing searches on your computer. To get a "Level 2" account, you need to earn 500 points every month, which allows you to earn 250 points per day. So let's do some quick math. Thirty days a month you can earn about 12750 points per month without spending a single penny.
This will leave you with enough points to buy a $10 free Amazon credit with some points left over. That's about $12.14 in Amazon credit you can earn per month. You probably won't earn that much each month, but you can still easily earn $5 or $10 each month with Amazon credit.
The only downside. Well, like we said, you have to use Edge and Bing. But for some, this may not be a big deal. To get started, visit the Microsoft Rewards website and sign up for the program. When you sign in to your Microsoft account and search on Bing, you'll see a points tracker that helps you earn points.

You earn them by searching and clicking on bonus offers. To earn points for mobile searches, you must search with Bing on your phone and sign in to a Microsoft account on the mobile browser you search with. To earn points for using Edge, you must use the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 10 and sign in to Windows with the same Microsoft account you use for the Rewards program.
You Can Earn At Least $10 In Amazon Credit Every Month
Microsoft explains how rewards work for using Edge. If you stay signed in and only use Edge and Bing, you'll naturally only earn points for general browsing and searching. You can also earn more rewards by completing special offers available from Bing.com, but you don't even have to.
If you're happy with Bing and Edge for your search and browsing, this app is basically free money. money you can only spend on Amazon, of course. If you've given up on Google and Chrome, Amazon's promise of free credit might not be enough to entice you.
But Edge is optional. you can get most points from Bing search in Google Chrome, Firefox or any other browser. I have personally done Bing Rewards in the past and was able to earn about $10 in free Amazon.com credit each month. I can confirm that Microsoft does indeed pay.
Eventually I went back to using Google because it was better for more obscure and technical searches. However, if you're happy with Bing, Microsoft's rewards program gives you free stuff with no real downsides. By submitting your email, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
