thanks to Monster Divers! ! This is one of the best groups of people to dive with! They know what they are doing, love what they do and maintain all their equipment very well. The best part is that they are fun!! We ended up staying right next to the dive shop and barely left the beach.....except for diving!
I did a lot of research on dive shops to go to before we got there and we ended up making the best decision ever! Even if you don't dive, if you're in Pulau Weh, stop by Monster Divers, you won't regret it!! We dived with Monsters for five days and had a great time.

We had trouble deciding between the Racer and the Monsters, but it felt like the Monsters had a more personal touch. We made a good choice! Between dives you can relax in their various choices of sofas, hammocks, chairs, ... and have a drink or order food from the place next door (slow food and good value for money).

If necessary, you can safely store your belongings. Briefing before each dive is very thorough about the important currents in Pulau Weh! They will make sure you are aware of possible changes during the dive. They focus on large animals (sharks, rays, ...), so if you are interested in nudibranches, be sure to ask ;).
The material is relatively new and in good condition. BCDs aren't great, but they are. They use a 12L aluminum tank. They have a small boat, but it's good enough for a small crew (which also limits the size of the group, so that's a plus).
The crew (Sergi, Nando, Niko and Yuyun) are all very nice and sociable people who make you feel welcome and at home. They are experienced divers and know what to do. The dive profile is not always ideal, but that is mainly due to the unpredictable current (which can force you to go back down again).
On one dive I had an incident where the back leader (a local diver, Bas) didn't make a safe decision (telling me to go against the strong current while the leader disagreed) causing us to get caught in the current while we had it. not enough air.
Be careful when diving with him in your group. Apart from this incident I would recommend this dive center. They are very competitively priced and the quality is excellent overall! In addition, they also offer transportation (free!) to and from your hotel. great choice! We were there to take the OWC and do some fun dives and it was amazing.

The dive site was really nice, but the best part was the people. You really feel like you are among friends when you sit on their terrace and share your experience with everyone you meet. Thanks to Nico, Sergi and Nando for all their help and work as well as to Lucy, Marcus, Abu, Miguel and Yung.
Great people, big monsters. Great luck, see you soon. Signed by: poligoni ;) I have an open water certificate and a monster diver in the island. I planned to stay until the end of the course but ended up staying 8 days and was sad to leave.
Diving with monster divers creates a complete group of friends. They are fun, relaxing super useful and funny. They hold a "family dinner" for all divers and the diveshop is my living room in Gapang Beach. The amazing Yuyun taught me how to scuba dive, took me to a hair spa in Banda Aceh and is now a friend for life.
Do not dive with monstrous divers, want the coolest gear, big and sharp boat 8:30 am departure. Dive with monsters if you want to learn how to dive safely at your own pace. Unfortunately, we can only dive here for two days. This is one of the best dive centers we have ever been to.
The staff is very attentive, they take good care of you before, during and after the dive. The atmosphere is relaxed but does not include security. I spent 4 days at this dive shop to get my AOW course, thank you monsters, especially yuun, I will be back one day!
