All orders are subject to a $5.99 shipping fee from all shipping locations. You can see where your item is being shipped from in the Delivery Location section of the item details page. After you send the order, you will receive an e-mail with information regarding the tracking of the shipment.

If the estimated time frame for your package has passed, please contact madewellforever@thredup.com with your order number and we will be happy to track your package. Orders are sometimes scanned ahead of time as they are delivered and may still be held at the post office for collection.
Before making further inquiries, please do the following: • Check with your neighbors, roommates, property manager or front office • Look around the porch or property to see if the package has been delivered a safe and hidden place • Check with your delivery provider, to find out if the package has been kept.

If it cannot be canceled due to immediate processing, please use our easy return process. Please contact madewellforever@thredup.com to see if your shipping address can be updated - remember to include your order number and new address. After the order has been processed, the delivery address can no longer be changed.
In these cases, we recommend that you create a forwarding address. After we have placed the order, we cannot change the selected payment method. If your order has not yet been processed, thredUP customer service may cancel your order. Send us your order number at madewellforever@thredup.com.
If you decide the item isn't right for you, visit our Returns page to process your request. Returns must be returned within 14 days of delivery. The 14 day period starts with the delivery of the item, not the order as a whole. If your order comes in multiple shipments, you may experience different return times.
No Surprises
Several items can be sent in one package if returns are included. Refund Requirements:• Items MUST be returned in the condition you received them (i.e. items new with tags, original tags attached, unworn or washed, etc.) • Items will not be refunded the original price •
The sale of the last item cannot be returned. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that a $5.99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. We currently only accept online returns for Madewell Forever items. To process a return, visit our Returns page.

Madewell has partnered with thredUP to allow customers to earn credit toward purchases on their gently used clothing. • Pick up physical cleaning equipment in stores or visit our Trade In page and print a digital label to use on the appropriate box or cover.
• Do you have cleaning equipment from the shop? To activate your kit before it ships, click "Activate Kit" here and enter your email address to receive your Madewell e-gift card as soon as possible. Our Clean Out services are currently only available to customers within the 48 contiguous US states.

We hope to expand to other states and countries in the future! Email us at madewellforever@thredup.com with your bag number or kit tracking number and we will activate the kit for you. Drop off your package at any USPS or FedEx location. Madewell stores do not accept packages and all packages must be dropped off at any USPS or FedEx location.
We currently only accept popular jeans at Madewell stores (any brand, any cut). Our friends at ThredUP and Cotton's Blue Jeans Go Green™ will responsibly reuse or recycle them, and for every pair you bring in, Madewell will give you $20 off a brand new pair (sorry, this discount doesn't apply to Madewell items
forever). Find a store near you. You can easily ship women's and children's clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories of any brand. All items should be: • clean. size information. Note: Only 50% of the items in the average cleaning kit meet thredUP quality standards. Together with its partners, thredUP is committed to returning as many items as possible to the circular economy and keeping them out of landfills.

Pieces that are in good condition but do not meet thredUP quality standards are considered for inclusion in the ThredUP Salvage program. Items that do not qualify for listing or salvage boxes are responsibly reused or recycled by ThredUP's network of textile recycling and reuse partners.

You will receive notifications when we receive your bag, when your items are processed, and when you receive your Madewell e-gift card. When the kit is shipped via USPS or FedEx, it may take up to three weeks to arrive on thredUP. Once received, it will take up to four weeks to process.
There is no charge for physical cleaning kits or digital labels, and both are free to return. For non-denim items: You will receive a notification from ThredUP when your items have been processed. You will receive an email from Madewell within 7 to 14 days explaining how to access your account credits.
