clothes, books, lots of music and memorabilia. Some guidebooks or websites say that the restaurant closes at 6pm. I don't come in October and it ends at 5pm. My wife wanted the chicken patty but they ran out of stock so we both got the turkey..... The restaurant is very small with only a few tables, although the service was good.
This review has nothing to do with the food or service. All good. But when I left the restaurant at 4:30, two or three people came to sit down, and I was told that there was no one left. The website clearly states that the restaurant closes at five.
A couple ran across the parking lot yelling, "Yes, we're on time!" I think this is wrong. Also, my wife and I are very disappointed today. We have been coming here for years and this time was no different. We both had pancakes. They were hot enough to eat, but not greasy.

The sausage was cold and the coffee was hot. We are not complaining, it should be like that. The waiter was a bit rude, but he was the only waiter there and he was full of heart so we ignored him. My wife and I visited the Mabry Mill restaurant on October 20, 2022. We have eaten there many years ago and had a great experience and were looking forward to a delicious breakfast.
After waiting for about 20 minutes, we sat down and ordered food. Pancakes,... eggs, wheat flour, home fries and bacon. The coffee is fast but a bit weak. Our food arrived within 10 minutes. The eggs and nuts were good, but the beef was sliced too thin and strong and chewy;
The home fries were good but not great. Pancakes are warm but not hot. But they have good taste. The waiter did a great job and can't fault him for the poor quality of the food. The total tab for breakfast with tip is around $36;
We were very disappointed with our experience compared to our previous visits. We will never eat there again. In addition, it is a small dining room surrounded by windows and wooden areas. Good sleep with good breakfast with fast service and good server. Worth the trip and will make another trip.
My husband said it was the worst coffee he ever had. The older woman who served was very rude and disinterested. "Whatever," you can't sit anywhere. I didn't come back. But the company is beautiful. This is a small restaurant on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

It's in the same building as the gift shop. The food is delicious and plentiful. No one needs to eat...here. Good but don't expect a four Michelin star restaurant. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. We went here for breakfast based on good reviews.
The whole experience was disappointing. We know it was 11:30 pm when we got there when breakfast stopped. When our server came, He said we need breakfast, and he said: "You have less than 2 minutes, so order quickly." My husband ordered the Buckwheat Pancakes, which I have had 3 times in Virginia.
These are the worst tasting. Blueberry pancakes are very heavy and dry with a few blueberries. I specifically asked if they would serve Diet Coke, but they offered Pepsi instead. To sum up our experience, the food exceeded the price; Our server gives all the signs that customers don't want to wait.
I have nothing to recommend about this restaurant. I couldn't get the pancakes I wanted anymore. Before I arrived, I read all the places that served breakfast during the day. When I arrived, I found that he had not eaten breakfast. change their ads; fix It needs to be updated.
To say the least...I was very disappointed. another wonderful employee; If you're hungry after a good breakfast, it's your fault. The ham and homemade biscuits were excellent. A cute little house with a seat in the back. It's not a fancy place, but the food is amazing.
