I only went to the gift shop, but it was good. If you are a baseball fan, you will find great things. T-shirts, bats, golf balls, hats all kinds of quality items for the gift shop. It can get a bug bat for 20.00 or a custom written that can be used for 100.00.
The gift shop is right when you walk in the door. There is a small plaque on the wall where each player used their bat. There are many of them. The big bat outside is nature photo opp. The Louisville Slugger Museum is a fun, family-friendly attraction in downtown Louisville.

This tour takes you step by step on how a bat is made, including seeing the machine in action to make a bat, what are the strict standards they have to meet, and at the end of the tour, you get a real bat

If you get there when it opens in the morning you can park at the street meter or you can get to it by parking in the 8th St parking garage behind it and you can see the ride in the garage elevator.
This tour takes you directly to the floor of a small factory to see how various bats are made. At the end of the trip, each participant was given a small bat figurine as a souvenir. They also have other bats for sale in their gift shop and you can order any bat you want.
Well worth your time visiting. Plan 1.5-2 hours for your entire experience. The Louisville Slugger Musem is always a treat for anyone visiting Louisville. There is a tour of the bat factory and at the end of the tour you get a souvenir. The Musem features a theater, bat cages, and other baseball favorites.

You can spend just a few days visiting this wonderful museum and in the corner you will find the Glassworks where the glassworks are beautiful pieces of art made from carved glass.
Louisville, Ky is just a beautiful City. We went on a very cold day and made this very warm but based on an interest in Louisville Slugger history. My husband, daughter and I were pleasantly surprised to have such a great time; Knowledgeable guide, good information, great history.
