Lakeshore Learning Gift Card
To qualify for classroom funding during Teacher Appreciation Week 2021, you must register and create a class profile at AdoptAClassroom.org. AdoptAClassroom.org and CouponCause are recognizing teachers for Teacher Appreciation Day with a $15,000 donation. Beginning at 7:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, May 4, all donations made to a teacher's or school's fundraising page, up to $50, will be doubled.
Our match ends at 5:00 PM CST on Wednesday, May 5th. Make sure to start your fundraising as soon as possible during our two day match as we can only double the 300 donations. Find out more here. The structures are sturdy enough to hold a sheet or blanket on top, and the kit also includes instructions for easy construction. Before the kids started building, it was easy to see that several skills would be needed to successfully build the forts: Without instructions or help from adults, my kids opened the box, sorted the parts, and started building.

When their fort was complete, the children put a blanket on top and some pillows on the floor. Although the fort was not strong enough to climb, it was well built and unlikely to collapse without effort.
