How To Wrap A Round Gift
Some shapes and items are easier to wrap than others, but if you follow our step-by-step tutorials, you'll have carefully wrapped gifts, no matter what shape they are in no time. This is the easiest of all shapes to wrap, as you can create nice neat folds.
If you have an odd-shaped item, such as a toy, or something that has no structure, such as a shirt or sweater, you can purchase a gift box or shirt box to hold the item to make it l easier and neater packing. Clean a flat surface and place the roll of wrapping paper face down, making sure you have enough space to unfold it.
Place the box on the wrapping paper and fold the sides without gaps on the box to make sure there is enough, then cut the paper. After cutting the paper, reposition the box so that it is in the center of the wrapping paper. Take the cut end of the paper and make a fold about a centimeter wide so that all the sides are nice and straight and there are no wavy scissor lines at one end.
Wrap A Square Or Rectangular Box
Take one side of the paper and wrap it tightly on the box, then take the other side and do the same, overlapping the first layer of paper and securing it with a piece of plain or double tape. Then take one of the ends showing the unwrapped box and fold the top of the wrapping paper (overlapping ends) to form a nice neat piece at the top.

Then do the same with the two sides of the wrapping paper and you will only be left with the bottom, which will now be in the shape of a triangle. Double on top of the three sides already folded and secure with a piece of tape, then do the same on the other side of the box.
Add a self-adhesive bow or wrap a decorative ribbon around the gift to make it more festive, and write the recipient's name or add a beautiful name tag. Wrapping a cylindrical object like a perfume bottle or a vase is not as difficult as you might think, just follow the steps below and you'll have a well-wrapped gift in no time!
Start with the wrapping paper face down on a flat surface and placing the cylinder gift on it. Fold both sides of the wrapping paper over the gift to determine the amount of paper you need, then cut. Reposition the gift in the center of the cut paper, then make a one inch mark on each of the cut sides of the paper to make sure you have nice straight lines.

Hold the cylinder-shaped gift at one end of the paper and start rolling until it is completely covered with wrapping paper and secure the ends with tape. Reposition the gift in the wrapping paper so that it is centered and there is about a 2 inch paper sag at both ends (depending on the diameter of the item).
Starting from one end, begin to gently fold the wrapping paper sag on the base or top of the cylinder, trying to make the folds neater. When you reach the end of the circle, stick a piece of tape on top to secure it. Repeat the same process with the other end.

Then take a piece of the same wrapping paper and draw a circle on it twice with the diameter of a cylindrical gift. Cut two circles and glue one to the top and the other to the bottom of the gift with double-sided tape to cover the folds of the wrapping paper.
For extra decoration, add a self-adhesive bow to the top of the gift. Whether you're going to a housewarming party or visiting a friend for dinner, a nice bottle of wine makes a great gift. Instead of just bringing a bottle, make the gift extra special by wrapping it.
Fold The Cut Edges
As with the previous two wrapping methods, start by placing the wrapping paper face down on a large flat surface. Lay the bottle down and fold two sides of wrapping paper over it to estimate how much paper you need, then make the cut. Make a one-inch fold at both cut ends of the wrapping paper to have a clean edge, then transfer the bottle to one end and start rolling until you've used all the wrapping paper.
Secure with tape. Reposition the bottle if necessary, making sure there is enough paper at both ends. Take the lower end and gently start making tight folds until you reach the end, then use a piece of tape to stick it. Draw a circle with the diameter of the bottle on a piece of the same wrapping paper, cut it out, and then glue it to the bottom of the bottle with double tape to hide all the folds.
Take the bottle, then take the neck and squeeze the wrapping paper to create the final shape of the candy wrapper on the bottle. Take a piece of tape and wrap it tightly around the neck to keep its shape. Take a ribbon and tie it around the neck making a Christmas bow to finish.
