The more durable paper is much easier to work with and creates sharp corners that hold creases and won't tear as quickly when you pull on the paper.

I also love the wrapping paper with the grid printed on the underside. This allows you to cut straight and even lines with ease! Brown craft paper or plain paper is a great choice to have on hand as it can be used year-round and is easy to adapt to any occasion.
PRO TIP: If you need gift tags, I have dozens of Cricut ready tags. They add the perfect finishing touch! Less is more when it comes to gift wrapping. You want to use as little tape as possible while still making sure the gift wrap is secure.
My two favorite types of gift wrapping tape are gift wrap or double sided tape. Gift wrapping tape is crystal clear so it won't show up on your packaging and won't leave bubbles like white film or regular tape after use. The double-sided tape allows you to completely hide your tape under the wrapping paper, which is a really nice look.
