There are three mailboxes: one for newspapers, one for letters and packages, and one for the neighborhood. The newspaper mailbox experience opens at level 7. Neighborhood Mailbox on Level 10; Mailbox on level 15. Daily Dirt is a fictional newspaper where players can see advertisements for items that other players sell in their roadside shops.
Each player gets a unique copy of daily dirt. The newspaper is refreshed every 2 minutes or so. When this happens the mailbox shakes.
