He grows most of his own food right outside his front door, with his own "grocery". When it's that time of year for sweaters and football, many people think about pumpkins and fun fall activities.

Hot Chocolate Gift Box Ideas
Being the foodie that I am, I think of pumpkin foods and drinks, cookies, Thanksgiving prep, and hot chocolate. For me, this is what I drink at night to calm my mind before bed. As I prepare for the holidays, I also see them creeping in as great gifts to give to family and friends.
I thought in this post, I will combine these two sweet smiles and show you the best ideas that other people have come up with. This is a great way to start a hot chocolate post. Back when our oldest daughter was 8 years old, she read a magazine that wanted us to cook a recipe similar to this one and we made it ourselves.
The great thing about this is that you can take a coffee mug (the dollar store is a great place to find them very cheap) and add a spoon for an easy and cute gift. Giustina at Domestically Blissful made this cup and that's why I chose a spoon where she made several flavors, showing you how creative you can make this gift.
2. Pink, It’s My Favorite Color
If you know what your friends like, add chocolate. All you have to do is add warm milk. Easy and delicious! I love that they use chocolate chips. Although most people drink coffee with sugar and cream, I choose to use some type of chip - either chocolate, white chocolate, or a special kind.

They also use pudding, powdered milk, and strawberry Nesquick. She used this as a Valentine's Day recipe but I think people who love pink would love this as a gift. Or who turned their kitchen into a Candyland theme for the holidays. I am one of those people.
Having pink hot chocolate makes me feel good when I'm in the kitchen/dining room. This delicious recipe comes from Megan at Homemade Ginger. Be sure to read the whole story because it also has a great recipe for Funfetti hot chocolate. Chrysa at Thrifty Jinxy made these cute animals.
And, of course, I love this recipe because it uses chocolate chips. Googly eyes means it will fit best in tights. Adding directions makes it easy for moms and dads to help little ones make recipes. My only complaint about this recipe is they use Swiss Miss to make the hot chocolate in the recipe.
3. Reindeer Gifts
Because I've been making my own hot chocolate for so long I don't like the taste of Swiss Miss or almost any other hot chocolate mixer on the market (although, there are exceptions to this rule). All I can do is just use my own chocolate mix and add all the goodness they put in the meat.
Wow! Quite simple. A writer at Project Nursery came up with this cute idea that uses the same idea of the number 3 but only to scale. Instead of making hot chocolate into a moose, they made the cup into a reindeer by adding hands.

They added some really cute things including marshmallows, instant mints, and spoons. I don't know why the handle is added because it can soften quickly if used in hot drinks. As it is, it begins to soften within an hour after being in a cold drink.
I love their beauty though. How cute are the snowmen that Camille made in Growing Up Gabel? Here is an easy way to make it. You can use your chocolate mixture and add it about 3/4 of the way up and add some big marshmallows.
4. Upscaled Reindeer
After printing the stamp, use a permanent marker, and add decorations to make a snowman. I recommend adding a pot to make a drink under the top added. It would be a shame to leave the host wondering how to make your amazing drink. I can't get over how good this is.
Elizabeth at Sugar Hero makes this by combining chocolate chips, pumpkin spice, cocoa powder, and sprinkles. They take you through picking ingredients and turning them into pumpkins to make the chocolate part of hot chocolate. All you or your host has to do is heat up a cup of milk, add pumpkin, stir, and watch it melt.
I dare say - these truffles are probably my favorite on the list. It is so unique and sounds very delicious. Brandie at Home Cooking Memories came up with this cute idea and I love it. Instead of giving a physical gift, you can give a gift of time and memory.

Hence the name of his blog. A few years ago, I had an idea to have a party where the kids would draw purple wrapping paper. There was hot chocolate like this, and everyone brought a container full of cookies. We exchanged cookies and everyone- adults and children alike- had a great time.
5. Keeping With The Theme- Melted Snowman Hot Chocolate
After that, we put on a movie in the playroom and made pallets on the floor for the little ones while the parents received their children's gifts. We wrapped ourselves in paper decorated with little children, listened to Christmas carols, and enjoyed being together. The hot chocolate recipe below is dedicated to people who think outside the box when it comes to food and drink—whether it's for health or personal reasons.
This recipe is for low carb and high protein people. I'm sure it tastes good because Arman is known for creating delicious desserts that are healthier than sweet treats. If this interests you, be sure to check out his blog The Big Man's World. This makes me very happy because I have students who are gluten intolerant.
Some people claim not to be gluten tolerant but never, going by what is known now. My students are like that, really. They broke in hives and swelled. Very dangerous. I try to change our recipe as much as possible to make room for him and this is the way I can.
Plus it still looks delicious! Margaret at Plant Strong Vegan came up with this recipe that is perfect for people who are Paleo, Gluten-Free, and Dairy Free. This thick chocolate looks so good. The original recipe is a flour mixture. It has a secret ingredient that makes it thick - corn starch.
