Currently, it is not possible to order multiple retail gift cards at once. If you want to use your gift card balance at another store, you will need to place a new order. If you purchased or received a gift card before November 18, 2020, you can redeem it through your Instacart account.
However, this gift card does not cover service, delivery charges, tips, taxes, prescriptions or alcohol. Note: You cannot purchase Instacart+ membership gift cards with Instacart cash gift cards. Even if the gift card covers the total amount of your purchase, you must add a credit or debit card at checkout to redeem your gift card. Please note: Instacart charges your gift card for anything added during or after checkout, as long as the amount does not exceed the allowable amount.
If, after adding items, the total order amount exceeds the authorization period, your credit or debit card will be charged even if there are enough funds on your gift card to cover the additional items. Likewise, if the total order amount after adding items exceeds the amount on your gift card, we will charge the difference to the credit or debit card you entered at checkout.
When you process your order, we place a temporary lien on your gift card at a value slightly higher than your estimated order total. This small variation accounts for possible variations in the final total due to special requests, added items, items exchanged at different prices and actual weight.

If the authorization period exceeds the amount of your gift card, we will charge the difference to the credit or debit card you entered at checkout. Your gift card and/or credit or debit card will only be charged for the total amount delivered to you.
